If you're shopping for any kind of appliance, walk into the Danbury, CT Lowes and ask for Sales Specialist Wassim Fayad. Two years ago, we purchased a washer/dryer combo from Wassim and recently we returned to buy a new refrigerator. He's friendly, knowledgeable, and doesn't try to hard sell you. Just a couple of suggestions, make sure you shop on a weekday morning or afternoon when the store's not crowded. Wassim Fayed is the man!!

Very poor experience. No customer service. We purchased a small appliance and had to do nearly everything ourselves. We had a pretty rude salesperson drag our item out of the warehouse and yell from down an aisle "it's here!". Then we did self checkout. Nowhere on the receipt did it say we had only 48 hours to return our purchase (this was New Years weekend, mind you). When unboxed a few days later we found our item to be defective. Imagine our surprise when we returned to Lowes to discover that they do not accept returns after 2 days. The clerk told us to address this with the manufacturer, who told us to address this with the retailer. She did suggest we try to sell it on Facebook marketplace. After spending thousands on appliance and hardware over the years, guess who will never ever ever ever shop at Lowes again? This girl. So I followed up with Lowe's customer service and they adamantly refuse to help. Thanks!

We purchased an over the range microwave from Lowe's in late December. The employee who assisted us was rude and left the microwave in the showroom without informing us he had returned with our purchase. Upon discovering the microwave was defective, we returned to Lowe's with the microwave and our original receipt, at which point we were informed that we had missed the 48 hour return period. The employee who "helped" us did not mention this policy, nor was it mentioned on the receipt. Think twice about purchasing a small appliance from Lowe's, as they do not stand behind their products.UPDATE: We called the number listed in the manager's response below, at which point we were told that we would have to contact the microwave manufacturer, GE. A GE representative then told us that only Lowe's could facilitate the return. The Lowe's store manager left a message with her secretary letting us know that they refused to accept the return, despite the fact that they sold us a defective product. We will be in touch with the Attorney General's Office and our bank about this issue. Shame on Lowe's for adopting predatory business practices.

Lowes in Danbury had what we wanted in stock. We needed assistance, which we received right away. The gentleman who helped us loaded up our cart for us and even offered to help us load the car. Check out was fast too.

I was at the Danbury store today Sunday 12/17/23. I was purchasing some loose bolts, screws, and washers. I do not visit the store that often but Bob was a great help and I will be visiting the stoe more often. Bob helped us locate sku numbers for our purchase and also helped us pay for our stuff at the register. Bob went out of his way in a very polite way.

Ordered a cooktop. Online said all set to be delivered and installed on 12/10. Great! 12/10 waiting and waiting I called, “oh that was changed to 12/27! No install ordered. Can’t do that online call the store.” No call or email to say delivery was changed. I call the store…”you have to come in we can’t set that up over the phone or online.” Pure frustration.

I purchased a 5 gallon stain for my outdoor deck and fence to have them all the same color I had to purchase another 5 gallon bucket they mixed the wrong color I showed the manager they would not make it right and now I have 2 colors on the fence inside is the color we wanted out side is not

The delivery service from this store is the worse ever. I was supposed to get delivered a washing machine and dryer. First the washer was damage, before plugging in the machine, it was already filling out with water. Ok, understandable. When it comes to install the dryer, the guy was putting the big pipe where the heat comes out of the machine. He put tape around the ends, I was like "tape?, why don't you used the claws or a nail or a screw?" His answer was "because this is a special tape". I was ok, he is the expert. Once these people(who were on a rush by the way) pull out the garage , the pipe felt. I literally run after them and wave for them to come back. Long story short they add more tape and left. Sooooo, yes, it felt again while using it and I have to call for a new service. These people waste your time so they may be cheaper but you will end up paying more. Sorry but the service again is bad!

I love their customer service. I had one staff walk through the entire store with me and guided me with purchasing everything for a custom closet! I couldn't have done it without the Lowe's staff!!!

Today I've had the best customer service experience ever. This guy named Joe helped my dad and I explain the cost of installment for stoves as well as giving us different looks of stoves for the needs we have for home. He gave us an estimate for installment date as well as delivery date. He was very respectful and gave us other options for installation. When we come back I hope he is there to help us again.
