If I could give zero stars I would! As a contractor (Guarantee Construction Services, LLC), I've paid U.S. Granite, Inc. of Danbury, CT (usgranite.com) to order cabinets for my client's project and a granite countertop. Robert Basar is the owner and Marie seems to be employed by this company. After paying out of pocket for both the cabinets and the granite (which I've felt most uncomfortable doing without seeing the product ordered and properly installed) - I must write this review in the hope that it will help someone not make the same mistake I've made in choosing this company. One of the door panels on the cabinet was delivered broken. Also, when this company went to my client's residence to measure for the granite, they obviously did a very poor job in even doing the measurements because the granite is not only cut wrong but it was installed very unprofessionally (not level at all) and then they propped the granite up which is even horrible because you can see the gap where the granite is supposed to meet the cabinets. What's also terrible is how they've even dented my client's sink that I personally purchased for my client. When I called to speak with Robert Basar, I've asked for his phone number and his email address. The person who answered the phone, says she doesn't have that information. Robert Basar and Marie took it upon themselves to go to my client's house and when my client showed them all the defects, they told her to patch up the broken cabinet door and that there's nothing wrong with the granite installation. Neither one of them had the decency to speak directly with me nor respond to my emails regarding same. Needless to say, I will be seeking advice from my bank and also legal counsel for reimbursement and I will be reporting this company to the better business bureau as well! I am a woman-owned small business and to know that my clients were left with a kitchen like this is just a disaster and an embarrassment! U.S. Granite, Inc. (CT Cnt Lic: HIC. 0568683) located in Danbury, CT (and it seems they have another location in Wilton, CT) is the worse I've ever dealt with - most unprofessional! Need I say more? Attached are four photos. I have many more but I'll let these few pictures speak for themselves. I'm so disappointed. I'll take my business elsewhere! Note: you've been warned.

We are very happy to have worked with US Granite to have new counter tops installed in our kitchen.The entire process was professionally conducted with friendly, supportive salespeople who presented design options and advice. The fabricators and installers were also top notch. The work at our home was done on schedule, neat and clean. We ended up with exactly what we wanted at a fair price. The kitchen looks great! Thanks to everyone at US Granite.

We could not be happier for choosing US Granite for our bath and kitchen remodel!Included below are a few pictures of our beautiful kitchen countertops and bathroom vanity tops…Robert and his team were friendly, professional, and detail oriented. The turnaround time from which our templates were created to when our stone was delivered was quick and installation could not have gone more smoothly. We will enjoy for many years to come. Highly recommend!

I have used US Granite on multiple job sites. Both commercial and residential. They have fabricated and installed at least 6 residential properties and on restaurant IL Figlio in Fishkill, ny. They did a great job all around.Robert the owner personally does all templating, and Marie at the store/warehouse is the best. I have received great pricing and quality installations. They have never missed an appointment and will call the day of your installation to let you know exactly what time they will arrive. A lot of companies will tell you they will do this and don't . US Granite definitely will.. I am only using them for all my fabrications and installation.. They do an A+ job

U.S. Granite is truly a pleasure to work with. Their personalized service and attention to detail throughout the entire process was a refreshing change from the usual and I would recommend them to to anyone. DON’T use this company!They don’t stand behind their installs. They measured wrong, they were told that they measured wrong, twice, and they denied it. They tried to put the blame on the homeowner… and they are refusing to fix their mistake!Now I know why they ask for full payment before they install the counter tops. After spending thousands of dollars for new kitchen counter, it’s going to cost me more now when I get my lawyer involved.DON’T USE THIS COMPANY! “RIP-OFF.”

Rob was a lifesaver! Extremely professional. Easy to work with. Couldn't have asked for anyone better. He came and did an amazing job around my spa and was able to fix the problem that was caused by the pool company. Will go to US Granite every time. Can’t thank them enough.

Very happy with the outcome of our countertop project. Mike and Robert were very helpful and turned around the project under a tight deadline. The quality of the material and installation are excellent -- we would definitely use them again in the future.

We had a very unfortunate experience with US Granite. At templating appointment slab was not brought out from the side of a dark warehouse. Expected to make decisions in the dark with employee who did not speak English. Expected to pay for counters prior to install based on estimate. At installation square footage had been reduced yet no reduction to price. Corner of island rounded despite all other corners being squared. Didn’t consult with us first or explain. Sent multiple emails with no response. Terrible experience. Never again.

I bought my granite countertop last June and it still looks great! It came out to be a little cheaper than competitors and they did an amazing job with installing. They were very careful but it didn’t take forever to do. Quick yet efficient. I can’t say enough about customer service. So helpful and patient and had a very good selection of stone to choose from. Highly recommend them for any of the needs you may have that they can provide!

I visited five showrooms before US Granite. Yelena greeted us and we explained what we were looking for. She showed us all the options and we quickly choose our countertops. Yelena was awesome. She drew our kitchen from scratch just by our description and approximate measurements. We scheduled a fabrication date and Robert Basar, who is the owner of the company, came and did the fabrication himself. Within a week our countertops were installed. We are so thrilled they look beautiful.Robert also came back the day after installation to inspect the install. His knowledge and professionalism above and beyond!US Granite “5” Star Rating.

We are so pleased with our new kitchen granite countertops. Marie was right on in helping us pick the granite for our cabinets. Everything flowed smoothly meeting all the timelines we were given for measuring the template and installation. The installation was flawless and very professional. We have used this company for our bathroom countertops as well and they are beautiful.

I purchased a granite kitchen countertop, sink and faucet from US Granite. I thought the showroom and selection were very nice but that's where the good part ended. The entire process was a series of mistakes and inattention and I am extremely disappointed and upset with my experience with US Granite.I was suprised to be asked to pay the entire countertop fee before it was completed, and I told the owner Robert I was uncomfortable about it but he insisted (red flag and lesson learned). Now it's clear what a mistake that was.The installers dented and scratched the front of my refrigerator. No one mentioned to me while they were here that there had been a problem. When the plumber came to attach the sink, the 2 drains that were sent did not fit. The screws were too short to work with the granite sink. I had to find replacements at the last minute.When my contractor came to grout the backsplash we realized the countertop had not been sealed. It was absorbing liquids. I called Marie to tell her the countertop hadn't been sealed. It was not the conversation I expected. Rather than arranging to have an installer come and check, she said she was sure the installers would have done that after the installation. When I explained the countertop was not wiped down and my contractor confirmed it was still absorbing liquid, Marie asked for the name and number of my contractor which I found disrespectful but I gave it to her anyway. She never reached out to him.Because US Granite did not seal the countertop and was not returning my call, I couldn't wait any longer to use the kitchen, I had to have someone else do it.I paid US Granite for the countertop and installation in full. However, the installation was not complete, I had to replace materials incorrectly ordered by US Granite, I have a scratched and dented refrigerator, and had been without a kitchen for over two weeks. Marie never returned my phone call and Robert has not responded to my written complaint.I would strongly recommend finding another granite supplier.

I had a great experience with US Granite. The team was helpful, responsive, and made the whole process easy. They had a great selection of stone and relationships with other stone warehouses so I could look at even more options. Ultimately I went with a beautiful slab they had on site. I would highly recommend them!
