my wife and scheduled and confirmed appointments for Covid and RSV vaccinations at 4:00 and 4:10 PM today. Finally got my 4:00 PM shot at 4:42; my wife got hers at 4:44. While Lisa who registered us when we first checked in was very nice, the whole procedure seemed in disarray, no fault of her. Obviously understaffed for the volume of customers showing up. Also, while their website quotes the CDC opinion that it's safe to give both RSV and Covid shots together, their resident Pharmacist voiced a strong 'clinical' opinion that that was not the case, thus dissuading my wife from getting both today. Next time, think we'll use CVS or BigY.

Very poorly managed. We visited this location on 2 occasions and both times they didn't have it together. First time was to acquire medication. We stood on a line for more than half an hour, then the pharmacist did not seem to know how to process our insurance. After multiple attempts, we finally were able to get the prescription. Second time was when we tried to get film from a disposable camera developed. My wife went to the department marked "PHOTO" and the young woman was there texting on her phone. After a couple of minutes of this person not looking to acknowledge her, my wife asked her if this is where we get film developed. The lady told her it was, but they were out of envelopes. When my wife asked what she should do, she replied, "Go somewhere else." My wife asked another associate to speak to the manager. Apparently, she only pretended to call him because when an assistant happened to be walking the floor, she mentioned no one ever called for a manager. We took the film to a nearby CVS location, and they were happy to accept our business. Never again!

This location is terrible. No weekend hours and very limited weekday hours. I’m moving all of my prescriptions elsewhere and I’m telling the rest of my family it’s worth driving a little out if your way for better more prompt service. People work, having such limited hours is incredibly inconvenient and frustrating. And then if you don’t pickup in time THEY PUT IT BACK! I would’ve been able to pick it up in time if they had any day with hours that would help patients. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PHARMACY YOU DESERVE BETTER. Go to CVS they care more.

The pharmacy is a mess Each month on refill I get a refill of Losartan/HCTZ and there is a particular brand of this medication that gives me headaches, nausea and general tiredness. I've reported this to them on MULTIPLE occasions. I've asked them REPEADEDLY to ensure in my record that U192 is not dispensed. Almost on clock work every three months I get the wrong brandI'm reporting them to NABP. If you have similar issues issues please report this pharmacy as well and to the DCP

I have never seen in my life a worst run Walgreen pharmacy. You could expect an hour wait with only four cars ahead of you. They are rude to boot. Totally ridiculous. If I could give less than one star I would

This Walgreens pharmacy on Federal Rd in Danbury, Ct, is by far the worst pharmacy I've ever had to deal with. I have moved all my business elsewhere!u

I'd give this place 0 stars specifically because of the pharmacy. Waiting in line for 20+ minutes (drive thru or in-store) EVERY TIME I go to pickup. You're ignored by the staff who look up and see you waiting but do not acknowledge you or at least say they'll be with you shortly. Lost prescriptions, inaccurate updates on when medication is ready, pharmacy techs sitting on their phone when there's a line of people waiting. Horrible horrible HORRIBLE customer service. Switching to a different pharmacy ASAP

Regarding the pharmacy at 101 Federeal Rd in Danbury, CT only: 1. I frequently receive inaccurate text messages and emails regarding prescriptions being ready, delayed, or out of stock. Sometimes contradictory texts arrive one after the other. This has resulted in me arriving at the store expecting an order to be ready and it's not. The wait is often not short, and I have to come back another time--when I'm not feeling well. 2. I'm told by text prescriptions will be held for 7-10 days. Well that's a foolish rule. I never know exactly how long an order will be held. Pick a number and stick with it. Again, I have gone to the store expecting a prescription will be held, and it has not been. This can result in additional delays, because in the reordering process insurance won't necessarily immediately reauthorize filling the script. Very frustrating when I'm managing multiple scripts and don't always feel well 3. Inexplicably, the pharmacy closes for half an hour during the day. This is quite inconvenient. They implemented this within the last year, I think, presumably to provide better service. Service has only devolved as a result. 4. I once had a pharmacist issue an opened container of filled syringes to me. The product box says all over it don't accept it if it's been opened. The pharmacist refused to give me another. I felt like I was playing Russian Roulette when I took it. 5. I prefer to use the drive through. I have sat in my car for 15 minutes waiting for the pharmacist to at least acknowledge my presence and pick up the microphone and tell me she'll be right with me. Instead, I just get to watch her ignore me. I've seen pharmacy techs talking on their cellphones while there is a long line, and I just have to sit and wait until someone decides to do their job. I have been stuck in the middle of a drive through line that isn't moving, tried to call the store, and not gotten an answer. The pharmacy used to be better. There were a few poeople who knew me and were friendly and helpful. But this poor service has gone on for years. And it's definitely gone down hill since the pandemic. Why would I look for my healthcare at a store like this? I have begun to shift my scripts to another store. I will no longer choose to use Walgreens.

I've had so many problems with this pharmacy since they became Walgreens. A) Every month I need to call them about "insurance issues with your prescription" just to be told there was no issue and it was just an error with their system. B) More than half of the time I call, nobody ever comes to the phone. I'm left on hold for hours. There is no way that there is constantly a queue time of 1+ hours to contact them via phone. I'm convinced they just aren't answering the phone. C) On a couple of occasions they were out of important mental health medication I needed for more than 1 day. I understand that things are tough during Covid but there MUST be enough staff on shift to deal with this. Why even have the ability to call the pharmacy if we can't get through half of the time? Even more frustrating is that after 45 minutes or so, it no longer tells you how many callers are left in front of you. In all of those cases, the # of callers in front of me is "more than 3" and it never goes down! Then it just stops giving this info all together. I don't like writing complaints, I'm a very patient customer. But it really seems like corporate Walgreens is slacking on this location. It was a lot better when it was Rite Aid.... so I am inclined to blame the problems on the change to Walgreens. Either way I hope you guys can resolve these issues.

I haven't dealt with the pharmacy in this store, but I stopped in looking for a specific product and couldn't find it on the shelf, even though it was listed as "in stock in store" on the website. When I asked an associate about it, he went out of his way to look for the product for me, and actually ended up finding it in a totally different part of the store (I guess they have a regular skincare and an acne section separately). Super nice! I definitely would not have found it without help as I've only used the photo service at Walgreens, which btw, is always a smooth transaction, so it was really nice he was so willing to help !

This used to be a Rite before being bought out by Walgreens. Ever since the switchover, this place is the worst. Call to see if your script is ready, be prepared for at least a 30 minute wait on hold- if they ever pick up. The pharmacy line is ridiculous, there seems to be only 1-2 people working. They don't seem to care at all about their customers. I switched because CVS in my town is terrible but now I am considering going back to CVS.
