They take way too long to fill prescriptions, the pharmacist has a nasty attitude (god forbid you have a question to ask- be prepared to be barked at), and overall the staff treats you like you are just an inconvenience. I’m tired of the “we’re busy” excuse. Being busy doesn’t give you the right to be rude. I’ll be looking for a new pharmacy.

Supervisor gave me a hard time over a price match when they do it all the time. Why would I pay more when your price is less online just match the price

I thought using this pharmacy was a good thing because it is close to my house .. but driving the extra 20 minutes to the next closest one is better. We’ve had nothing but problems coming here. Takes days to fill a prescription, the ladies working there are rude, and nothing is ever in stock. Save yourself the headache!!

Pharmacy experiences often blend into the backdrop of routine healthcare—until you encounter a problem that seems insurmountable. That's when the true value of exceptional pharmacy service shines through, as vividly illustrated by my recent ordeal.
Following a hospital visit, my essential medication was erroneously sent to a CVS, where I was informed, to my dismay, that not only was my medication unavailable, but it had also been out of stock for months.
Their blunt advice left me feeling helpless and on the verge of a medical emergency, highlighting a dire need for immediate, competent assistance. In a moment of desperation, we turned to Walgreens, spurred by my wife's confidence in their reliable service.
It was there that Lydia, a beacon of hope, stepped into our tumultuous journey. Her dedication was immediately apparent as she navigated the complexities of transferring my prescription to her care.
Lydia embodied the epitome of exceptional customer service, maintaining communication with us until the medication was securely in our hands, effectively averting a potential crisis.
Such personalized, attentive service is a rarity in today's fast-paced world, making Lydia's commitment to her customers all the more remarkable.
It's individuals like her who transform a routine service into a lifeline during moments of need. Lydia didn't just perform her duties; she went above and beyond, ensuring not only the resolution of an immediate issue but also fostering a lasting impression of trust and reliability.
This experience has decisively shifted my loyalty to Walgreens, where I've witnessed firsthand the profound impact of genuine, compassionate customer care.To Lydia: your actions exemplify the best of what customer service can be. Your dedication has not only earned my unwavering patronage but also my heartfelt gratitude. The world indeed shines a little brighter with people like you in it.

my wife and scheduled and confirmed appointments for Covid and RSV vaccinations at 4:00 and 4:10 PM today. Finally got my 4:00 PM shot at 4:42; my wife got hers at 4:44. While Lisa who registered us when we first checked in was very nice, the whole procedure seemed in disarray, no fault of her. Obviously understaffed for the volume of customers showing up. Also, while their website quotes the CDC opinion that it's safe to give both RSV and Covid shots together, their resident Pharmacist voiced a strong 'clinical' opinion that that was not the case, thus dissuading my wife from getting both today. Next time, think we'll use CVS or BigY.

Problems with this pharmacy since I switched plans starting Jan 2023. Ordered a refill for drug from 1 of my physicians that was previously filled by them, but they sent it to the wrong and was rejected. When I called 7 days later asking the status of the refill, was told they never heard from the MD. I contacted the office and was told they never heard from Walgreens. The refill was filled and then 2 days later rec'd a msg stating it was too early for a refill and it would cost over $1000.When I switched plans in January, I gave them my charge card to keep on file, and twice they told me it was rejected because they entered the wrong number into their system.Last week I commented on all the issues I've had at this location, I was told they like to hear positive feedback.I never had similar problems with Stop and Shop, and will try another location to see if the service will be better than on Federal Road in Danbury.
