Can be expensive however, if you want to feed your family a variety of good food you will need to spend but It's worth it. Just dont shop when you are hungry

Just picked up my prepared Turkey for Thanksgiving and the experience was super! I had placed my order a week ago, Received my email to sign in & pickup, arrived at the store & was out of the store within 5 minutes. So smooth, great customer experience. Appreciate it even more during the Pandemic. Great job!

Was at this location recently, they are doing a really nice job at disinfecting all the shopping carts, put arrows on the ground to encourage one-way traffic in aisles, and marked off areas at checkout to encourage social distancing. They are also providing free bags to avoid cross-contamination, and it up plexi-glass between cashier and customers. Staff is friendly and helpful to make your trip faster, store is clean, organized, and well-stocked. I'll return.

This is a great store with lots of organic choice but I find it very pricey unless they're having a sale and it's also a Prime bonus deal. Hence the three stars but their food bar is usually good and every is friendly. Stopped there today and just about everything I went in for was sold out and the shelves were bare. I'm thinking, It's crazy the way everyone thinks that they need to buy all this because some European countries have closed down everything except for the grocery stores and pharmacies due to covid19...

It's a standard Whole Foods Market. You'll spend half your pay check and still somehow have nothing to eat once you get home. The check out lines usually aren't too long which is nice. I have noticed expired items on multiple occasions, especially in the dairy section - particularly the yogurt. As in any supermarket, be mindful of expiration dates. They're the only market that I know of since moving up here with a nice selection of organic produce which is depressing. Fun Whole Foods Danbury story: On one instance I was looking around for dark corn syrup. After one guy couldn't find it, he asked another associate who was supposedly more familiar with the baking section to help me. I asked and was ASSURED by the associate that Whole Foods carries no such thing. Blasphemy! How dare I even ask in such a fine establishment for something as evil as corn syrup! After the guy spent 5 min telling me the store doesn't carry anything with corn syrup in it (LOL), I glanced up and plucked the light corn syrup off the shelf & thanked him for his time.

Always a great, fast, nutritious meal at Whole Foods. I love that I can pick out exactly what I want and the variety is always abundant. The buffet area is priced by the pound so don't get too excited when filling your box because it can get quite pricey! I am on a whole food/plant based food plan and this was exactly what I needed. There are food types to fit every diet.

First off, a message to the people who write reviews complaining about this place being expensive...How do you not already know that the type of food you're aiming to buy is expensive?? This is a grocery store that sells organic, natural products of all kinds category. Most products in this category is expensive whether you buy them at Whole Foods, Caraluzzi's, stop n shop. I choose to buy in this category; therefore, I know my bill will be high. Before I critique, I have to say, I'm grateful to have a Whole Foods so close to my house, and I can generally find everything I'm looking for. But... The Dirtbury, CT location has the worst buffet/hot bar of all the W.F I've been to. I asked once if they ever change the items, and I was told it's seasonal, but many seasons have gone by since, and it's the same ol s*** everyday. Back when I lived in Atlanta, I used to get so excited about going for lunch at the W.F. On West Paces Ferry Rd in Atlanta, GA. Everything was always fresh and plenty. I guess maybe bc that one was such a high volume store. But here, sometimes, you walk in, and most of the stuff is picked through or close to being empty. It's so BORING. Sometimes there's an associate working who makes the most annoying announcements over the PA. "Gooooooooooooood afternoon team members!" It used to be one guy, then I guess they hired a woman who copies him, and now there are two of them. It's so obnoxious, and makes me want to hurry up my shopping and GTFO! Overall, it's a decent store with only the above exceptions.

I needed a quick pick me up so I Googled coffee near me and it brought me here. I have always gone to this Whole Foods for shopping needs but never just a cup of coffee. I never realized this, but there is a little coffee place inside this Whole Foods called Allegro Coffee. I got a Matcha Latte and it was pretty good, there were even smoothie samples which was a bonus.

This is an update on what happened to me as a prime member who does not own a cell phone. The issue was resolved by the store manager and Ian, who I believe is the Tech "Guy" or shift manager. They had come up w/a work around for my situation and I received my sales prices that I was supposed to get when I first tried shopping there. Thanks Guys!!

Overall I like the store bc it has what I need. It's ridiculously expensive but I manage. Three stars for two reasons- there is hardly any vegan options in the food bar and there is usually cross contamination. There should be a vegan soup at all times. And the tofu dishes should not have honey so it can be vegan!! Seems like a no brainer... And the lack of sales on vegan items is so limited. Come on WF- serve your consumers.
