My daughter is getting married in Italy this Sept. I had a delightful afternoon shopping for a dress at Helen Ainson. Cory was very attentive and patiently encouraged me to try outfits I never would have without her support and she made the whole process fun! I found the perfect elegant dress for an outdoor Tuscan wedding. Large selection of sizes and prices. Highly recommend this shop for everyday and special event shopping.

I first went to Helen Ainson in 2021 when accompanying a dear friend who needed a mother of the groom dress. I decided to look around for a dress of my own to wear to the wedding because there was such a wide selection of beautiful outfits and everyone was just so helpful. Since then, I have been back several times and even now, after moving to Maryland, have ordered off the website. Corey has been absolutely the best! Thanks to everyone at the store for continuing to make this such a pleasant shopping experience.

I walked in and was pleasantly greeted without a sense of pressure WHATSOEVER and without an appointment I didn’t know what to expect. Found a gorgeous dress and being it was my first stop as mom of groom, I tried several gowns. Two were beautiful. Such a great experience. Loved the selection of undergarments and gorgeous non-formal wear also. Corrie is sooo great to work with. Great experience—so rare to find this level of customer service these days!!!

They have such a beautiful variety of evening gowns .holly was great as you see I not only bought one dress but I ended up with two , down to every accessory !highly recommend ,if your looking for personalized service on beautiful evening wear .i was given help from jewelry to the best shapewear for my body and dresses ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I was a late Christmas shopper scrambling to find a specific brand, color, cut and size of jeans for my wife that she only wears because of the perfect fit she likes of the brand and this brand is not available in many other retail outlets and malls that I searched desperately to find. I finally called Helen Ainson and Holly was so very helpful and told me that she has the brand, color and size BUT different cut and she would hold them for me to stop by to see and pick up. I quickly postponed my haircut appointment and raced to the store to purchase them, the purchase was even nicely gift wrapped, I gave them to my wife on Christmas Day, she tried them on as I crossed my fingers and the fit was still so perfect so there was no need to return them for an exchange.
I’m sold and will be coming back to see Holly, who came to my rescue.
There is something to be said by the boutique experience that is so much more personal than malls.
I highly recommend Helen Ainson!

In January, my 95 year old mother’s health began to fail rapidly. I live in NYC and my mother lived in her house in Conn. Helping and managing her care became all consuming. She died on May 24. My daughter was getting married in September and I had not even started thinking about shopping for my dress. It was not until July that I was able to even contemplate shopping. I was sad and dreading something that should have been joyful.When I walked into Helen Ainson, Holly took charge of helping me find a dress. Her kind, firm and no nonsense approach made me feel that “I could do this”, and that is exactly what I did. We found a beautiful dress, that made my husband, bride-to-be daughter and even me, smile. Scheduling the sessions with the seamstress, and being able to purchase all of the “day of” accoutrements, truly made this one stop shopping. I am so thankful for the way Holly helped me and the way she made me feel.

Always helpful, innovative with event clothes, and can dress you from head to toe! My particular favorite was a wedding in Kiowa, SC !! I had dress in bigger size altered to fit because it was no longer in stock! It fit like a glove and loved every minute of wearing it! Hope the new place works out! Nice location!

The women who helped me, saved my life. My son was getting married in2 weeks. I hadn’t found anything I like. As we were going to the dressing room I saw this dress. I asked if I could try it on. Of course she said and I knew it was my dress. Everyone told me they loved my dress.
