They have been very accommodating to a job site we have down the road in North Grosvenordale.

On today’s visit, Andrew had the paint pre mixed and ready and helped me walk it out when he saw I had the three kids.

“I have shopped at Modern Lumber for years. Excellent quality and excellent selection. I had/have the pleasure of dealing with Richard and his Son Chad. Chad has a great silly snarky attitude, which makes him fun to deal with. He can take it as well as give it which makes for a lively visit. I am always impressed with the quality of their lumber which is the best grade and sometimes less or just a little more than big box stores. You truly get what you pay for. Chad knows his stuff; we have never been disappointed. Extremely knowledgeable, willing to help, and if he doesn’t have it he will make every effort to get it for you. We are in the process of getting a new roof and some minor cedar siding repair. I needed just one piece of clapboard due to the distributor not giving me what we ordered as far as length goes. Modern was less per lineal foot than a large distributor in RI. (The reason we did not buy it all at Modern was a time issue, I should have called them first a few days earlier; that is on me.) My Husband likes going there as well. Oh and when they make a key, it works the first time every time. Thank You for being there for us in the Podunk Quiet Corner. We are very fortunate. Be well.
