I had to have my truck repaired after an accident. Sam, the office manager walked me through the insurance process and set up the repair’s. They not only repaired my truck in a timely manner, they detailed the interior. Best experience ever.

Picked up my Rogue yesterday after repairing a rear end fender bender. I picked the car up late in the day and didn't appreciate the job they did. They completed the work in four days and returned the car to me that was from front to back, inside and outside, strikingly clean and shiny like on a showroom floor. Atwood Auto Appearance has been our go to place for body work. Quality workmanship and great staff.

Terrible experience. Be careful. I took my car to Atwood for a non fault insurance repair. The adjusted and Atwood could not agree on a labor rate. Atwoods was at 95 dollars and the insurance was at 65. So I received a call stating I would need to pay $841 to get my car fixed. Insurance offered to tow the car to one of there partner for repairs. I then had to work with the new auto body place to take the parts Atwood had ordered because they claimed they were no refundable which I later learned was a lie. If the new auto body shop did not take them i would have to pay for them. After hours of calls I found an approved auto body shop that theninsurance company would tow to and use the part at no charge to me and mybinsurance company paid Atwoods to all work done, parts except for the extra 30 an hour which i needed to pay for the work already done. I thought it was over till i got a call that Atwoods refused to release my car unless I payed them for their time ordering parts and talking to the insurance company. They now wanted $370. So basically before you take your car here for insurance repair ask your insurance company how much you they are providing per hour. Atwoods is $95. They know this is the situation with most insurance companies and make you sign that they will make you pay. They do not disclose upfront that this is happening to customers everyday and they know they are more expensive and insurance will not pay.
They tried to get me to turn in the insurance company and gave me the Attorney General information to report the insurance company. At this point I was lied to by bot Atwoods and the insurance company. Beware.

I can’t express how wonderful this body shop is. As a result of a not-at-fault accident, I had to use a different shop (not by choice) and they did terrible work. I went to Atwood’s Auto Appearance to get their opinion and their estimator showed me even more issues with the other shop’s work that I didn’t notice. She showed me the paint job in different lighting and how poor it was, the bumper was not aligned with the body and they didn’t use clips to secure like they should have. Atwood’s worked with the insurance company to get my car totally fixed up - the right way and the way it should have been done all along. They were honest and forthcoming with all details and timelines. As a woman, I sometimes get intimidated by auto shops but the ladies in the front made me feel comfortable and confident in their work. A nice surprise was the incredible detailing they did to my car. The previous body shop sent my car home dirtier then when I dropped it off. Atwood’s cleaned it to perfection. It looked and smelled brand new. When my husband went to change my air filter, he was so impressed that they also cleaned under the hood! Atwood’s is the real deal. They are a local little body shop that treats you like you are their only customer. I highly recommend them for all of your auto body needs and they are the only place I will ever use.

Had my nearly new car serviced here after someone backed into me. They gave me an estimate promptly, worked with the insurance adjusters and got my car back to me when promised. Sam worked hard to save me money and my car looks as good as new.

George Atwood and his team used to be my go-to folks for auto body repairs. They always did great work, interfaced with insurance when needed and returned our vehicles in great shape. I referred several people to them over the many years and they took great care of those people too.Recently, we had an issue with my wife's SUV. I took it to George in June. He inspected it, took some pictures, and told me that he'd email me an estimate in a few days. Almost two weeks later I was still waiting, so I called and spoke with Dave. He said that they were in a meeting and that he'd get the estimate to me right after that. A week later, nothing, so I called again. Dave answered, said that he forgot, apologized, confirmed my email address and said he'd get the estimate right over to me. Again, nothing, so I gave up and went somewhere else.Later, I found out from a friend that I referred to Atwoods a few months before that he had also never heard back from them.I have no idea what's going on there, but something is clearly wrong.

I had a fantastic experience with Atwood’s. George was more than helpful, his prices were fair, better than fair, and the job was done very well, and within the estimated time frame. I cannot recommend this place enough, and I will be sure to tell other people to use Atwood’s. As well, when I got my car back, it was cleaner than the day that it was brand new, and I’m still overwhelmed at how shiny that inside of that car is. Atwood's was terrible with how they treat potential customers and have you waste your time. I called on 12/22 to see when I could come in to get an estimate on the damage of my car. They said to come in anytime on 12/28. I went to get the estimate on 12/28 and was told they couldn't do it that day anymore (after I drove a half hour to get there). They told me to come in anytime 1/4 and they will do the estimate then. I called the morning of 1/4 to confirm I could still come in around 1pm for the estimate (to make sure what happened to me last week didn't happen again) and they said yes that works. My father-in-law went in for the estimate since I could not get off from work and again they said they couldn't do it, try coming back in 2 hours. Waste of our time! Very rude, unprofessional, and inconsiderate. I cannot speak on their work, but there professionalism was terrible. Don't waste your time with them because they like to waste yours.

Our car was damaged in Hurricane Ian by a portion of a roof that ripped off a neighboring condo. It beat up the car from front to rear. The owner, George Atwood worked with our insurance company to setup and file the claim. Then he repaired everything. When we picked up the car it looked like it was a brand new car just off the showroom floor. He even adjusted two fender panels that were never properly installed at the factory.This is a family run business and their service and work is suburb. I'm giving them five stars , but if I could, I'd give them ten stars.It so rare these days to find someone who provide outstanding service a superb workmanship.Service: Body & Trim
