“When my cat of 17 years passed Forgotten Felines was the only place I looked for a new best friend. The volunteers are helpful and friendly. They looked into my past history at my vet which showed they cared and want to make sure me and my cat would be a good match. I appreciate that it is a no-kill shelter and am happy to support them via adoption.”

“The "Wharf to Waterfall" exhibit is full of Connecticut River Valley history. This should be part of the social studies curriculum in the Tri-Town area and an ongoing exhibit. Learn how manufacturing built the towns and communities of Deep River, Essex, Centerbrook, Ivoryton and Old Saybrook. Kudos to the Deep River Historical Society for acknowledging the commerce of slavery in the production of ivory products.”
