“The "Wharf to Waterfall" exhibit is full of Connecticut River Valley history. This should be part of the social studies curriculum in the Tri-Town area and an ongoing exhibit. Learn how manufacturing built the towns and communities of Deep River, Essex, Centerbrook, Ivoryton and Old Saybrook. Kudos to the Deep River Historical Society for acknowledging the commerce of slavery in the production of ivory products.”

“When my cat of 17 years passed Forgotten Felines was the only place I looked for a new best friend. The volunteers are helpful and friendly. They looked into my past history at my vet which showed they cared and want to make sure me and my cat would be a good match. I appreciate that it is a no-kill shelter and am happy to support them via adoption.”

“The Connecticut Cancer Foundation is an incredible organization that offers financial support to families dealing with a cancer diagnosis. The Foundation office lives up to the quality of its mission. It is worth a stop to see the baseball hall of fame and an art gallery with rotating artists with beautiful art for sale.”
