I needed a new roof before the winter weather picked up and was incredibly lucky to be recommended Noel. His work is immaculate. I will absolutely recommend him to anyone who has roof or siding needs.

February, 2023: The fine workmanship from Sound Siding and Roofing is beyond compare; Noel is a true professional in every sense. His work on our house in East Haddam was impeccable, including maintaining a clean, well organized work space. His customer service is terrific and spot on. Extras included repairing and cleaning gutters, identifying issues (such as flashing that was defective), providing clear communication. Pricing was fair and accurate. On top of all this, Noel is a gentleman and good man; you can't go wrong with Sound Siding and Roofing.

Noel Donnelly of Sound Siding and Roofing came highly recommended to my husband and me. I had asked a man who oversees a lot of the maintenance at our historic church in Deep River about who to call for a roofing estimate. He gave me Noel's number, saying "This is the guy you want." Later, another member of our church told me that Noel had been the foreman on her roof job 20 years ago and she was so impressed with how fastidious he was about the quality and tidiness of the job done. She recalled that Noel had even monitored the men's language around her young sons' impressionable ears.
We have a 3000 sq ft colonial home in Killingworth, CT. Noel estimated the roof (30 year, architectural style) at $18,700, and that is, exactly, what we paid him. (Plus, another $300 to the town for the permit)
Noel did everything that he said he would do. He was exceptionally neat and organized. He was on the roof by 7 am every morning and worked until evening each day. He installed the new roof himself insuring 100% quality control. (He did have 2 other men help him take off and discard the old roof.) He completed the job in less than 2 weeks in July 2016.
Noel is one of the hardest workers I have ever witnessed. He is a man of his word. My husband (who does not compliment often or easily) liked Noel from the start and was greatly impressed with his work ethic and the quality of his work.
Before, during and after the roofing job, Noel answered/returned every text and every phone call promptly. He was very attentive to our concerns. He was exceptionally pleasant to work with. We would recommend Noel for any roofing job because he takes sincere pride in his work.

Noel was great! He did a beautiful job fixing a side of our house that had some very sad siding. The extent of the problem was uncovered while we were having the house painted. Noel came out, did an assessment gave a fair price especially for such short notice. He is an extremely hard worker and got the project done in a very short amount of time by putting in some very long hot days. He is friendly and professional. We would use him again and recommend him without hesitation.
