My experience was awesome and the customer service was respectful with good manners, I witness a phone call of a customer calling , harassing and hanging up on the manager there , while she was trying to explain with low tone voice and giving respect to this customer. She was very polite , I give her a 10. A+. Storage is well kept and clean

CAVEAT EMPTOR: 8/13 - The beginning was great - unit was clean and ready and we got what we thought was a deal on renting our unit for $300 for 3 months. Until we received a call to inform us that the rental was only good thru 10/31. I asked how this was possible - it's not a full 3 months, the woman said "It was in my contract for 3 months - but not a full 3 months - and that I should have read it before I rented". Not cool, I felt completely screwed. Luckily, she called to let me know; I am picking up the last of my stuff tonight otherwise I would be paying another $157 plus tax for an additional month. Oh, and a real bummer the "security gate" was wide open for 8 of the 11 weeks my stuff was there. READ YOUR CONTRACT BEFORE YOU SIGN... Nice place, expensive, sneaky, and property was not secured.

Today I secured a storage unit in Derby, Connecticut, at the Storage Rentals of America facility. Today I met Tara, the property manager. Today was my lucky day!
Tara is super competent, super knowledgeable, and super friendly. This was unknown territory for me, the first time I had needed a storage unit. After a short conversation, Tara showed me two different sized units, making my decision a snap. She readily and satisfactorily answered all my questions, increasingly sealing the deal with her friendliness and great sense of humor.The property appears to be well-maintained, easily accessible, and very secure. The rates seem reasonable, especially in this inflated economy.
I repeat, thanks to Tara, I now have a storage unit!
