I moved to CT from NC 6 years ago in December & it was cold & I had no hat, gloves, or heavy coat. I researched & was told this was one of the places that could help me. I walked in & the atmosphere was colder than it was outside. I told a lady why I was there (already embarrassed about having to ask for help) & she went to get someone else to assist me. A 2nd lady came from the back just to tell me this: "We don't do that here"...and sent me on my way with no warm garments. On another note, I've gotten food from the food bank in the back 2 times in 6 years & was told from here forward I needed an appointment, but every time I call to make one I'm told they're booked up to a date about 3-4 weeks out & that's it. I'm confused & wondering why they can't give me an appointment any time after that..?? I'd really love to know.

This thrift store is jam packed with nice, clean, brand-name clothing. I went there today and tops and bottoms were only two dollars each. This is for high end brand names. I was able to get a lot of great things for work. The people there are very nice also.

It's a place that's supposed to help people....I showed up a little bit late for an appointment totally from a misunderstanding about the time I was 15 minutes late and they turned me away I really needed the help and they wouldn't even help ....that's being helpful...not.. God never turns anyone away...

We often buy select products at Goodwill, Savers, etc, and for the first time visited this place today. EZ access off Rt 34, ample parking, but get there before 2 pm. when they close. 2 pm?? Must be nap time. Surprisingly the place is well set up, stuff displayed well, and prices reasonable. Decent array of stuff, from furniture, chairs and rugs, to frames and other stuff. But watch your wallet. I know it was just a mistake, but the total came up to be 50% more than the stuff was marked. We settled it and all is well. But I was taken aback. Will add this place to those we visit...but get there before 2 pm.
