If I can get 0 star I would. Kim was so rude and if she can not deal with customers she shouldn’t work there. This happens every time I go to Derby post office. Today I had to go to Ansonia because of Kim and there I was treated with respect and very professional. I’ll never go to Derby post office again.

I want to post office today and I am pregnant and I’ll have baby next week so I went with my husband for my kids passport before I go to delivering next week baby. I’ve been very shock with lady she’s behind a counter. Her name is Kim. She treated us very, very rude without respect And keep shouting when she talks without respect and she tell us you are stupid. I spoke to manager I gave a complaint. I hope she’s. she took care everything serious. We’re not happy about service about the way we vent today. Our family is very upset.

Lady behind the counter does not seem mentally stable enough to work at a position that involves interacting with people on the daily. She started getting loud and aggressive after i asked her a simple question about their shipping rates. I left and went to the usps in Ansonia was in and out in 2 minutes and they were very professional, try to avoid this location if you don't want to deal with someone who hates their job and has a temperament of a 5 year old.

Went here for a passport and was treated with utter disrespect along with other customers behind me. This Kim woman needs to get lost. Shelton office was kind and professional.

I was shocked by how unnecessarily and aggressively rude the woman behind the counter was (white, short, short brown hair, heavyset). I was just walking in, not even past the doorway and she started barking orders... and then it just continued from there. It was the oddest customer service interaction I ever had. It was so cartoonishly rude I almost thought I was being pranked. It's worth the drive over to the next town's post office just to avoid this unpleasant woman.

Kim looked bothered that I was there and unwilling to answer any question. Honestly, I walked out, went to Shelton USPS and was handled with care.

The customer service at this Post Office is disappointing due to the unprofessional and rude behavior of an employee named Kim. Her conduct is inappropriate for someone in a role that requires interaction with the public. Numerous other reviews highlight similar experiences with her, indicating a consistent pattern of unprofessionalism that clearly goes back several years.
If you've shared a similar experience make sure you make a formal complaint via USPS website. This employees behavior is clearly unacceptable and has been going on for too long. Incredible that the conduct has not been addressed yet.

If Musk lays off the lady who was working behind the desk today being a scourge on society I will not shed a single tear.

Frankly, this review is meant to be a zero star review. I have visited this post office multiple times and each and every time the environment has been toxic. This time the nasty old lady was complaining about there being too many packages. Don’t recommend anyone go here!

Kim was just rude and literally will make you feel dumb for not knowing where a sticker goes on one of the envelopes when she simply doesn’t tell you how to seal the envelopes properly, just points and orders you where to go to get the envelope you’re looking for. She also got very upset I didn’t have a extra $1 and some cents to get a $10 back when I clearly said it’s okay because I don’t have it, then she raises her voice as if I didn’t hear her to ask me again if I had $1 and cents to get a $10 back and I said I’m fine like why are you getting upset and typing as if your punching the keyboard with your fingers for ? I clearly would have gave the total amount with the $1 and change you’re asking for if I wanted a clean bill back. Also she was belittling an employee in the back for taking lunch break not at two oclock, then about was upset about him wearing AirPods and how he wanted to take another bathroom break and telling him to hurry up. The guy literally had to tell her he had to poop and talking to a grown man as a child. I can see why she is a difficult person and everything is policy etc. Very rude and the guy and lady infront of me didn’t catch her attitude but sure I did.

This past weekend one of our packages was mistakenly delivered to another address. The package was a dress for my daughter’s homecoming dance. After reaching out and trying to locate the package, the postal office and all their workers truly got together and worked hard on making this right I have a happy 16 year-old at home, all thanks to them not giving up. I truly appreciate it.

Rude woman. Why do they let these people work here without proper etiquette and customer service skills. No common sense. Its hard to even have communicate with such people who refuse to listen.
