An employee here put a mobile account on my plan and gave me a month to decide if I wanted to use it. Within the month, I went back to the store with my internet equipment and told them to cancel my accounts. They did not cancel the mobile plan. Then Xfinity starts to hound me for a bill that I need to pay for a service I NEVER used. I call them multiple times to resolve the issue, and each time they said the bill would be removed. But it never was, and now it is in collections. So frustrated that this all happened because they did not close all my accounts at this storefront as I had asked them to.

The store manager gave me pushy option to take a cell phone promotion. It was $20/month. I had 3 months to
Cancel. He gave me his cell phone number to cancel it. It’s been 1 month and I am happy with my current plan. I called the number and of course no answer. It took a long time to call xfinity and wait for a callback. They called me back and informed me that the two numbers linked to my account for the service were not my current phone numbers and there was an activation fee I wasn’t informed about. Hard time trusting Xfinity stores. Thankfully the 1-800 were helpful in removing the service. Also you know the promotion was going to end and the charge would be close to what I’m paying for my service currently. Don’t listen to fast talking sales people. Taking advantage of seniors.

I’ve visited this store twice and called Xfinity over three times just to switch my mobile service from AT&T to Xfinity as part of a family bundle. Every time, store says the system just generates ticket after ticket with no real follow-up or resolution from the store or back office. After weeks of trying, I finally gave up. Very disappointing experience.

Super nice environment! Everyone was so friendly and kind! I went in to sign up for some mobile lines and they started rolling out a red carpet for me! I was also offered a chocolate candy! I couldn’t believe their kindness I felt so loved! The store manager, Jaki, ordered all the sales associates such as Akaiah, Devontae, Alonzo, Dani, and Nick to do a dance performance as to welcome me to Xfinity! It was wonderful! I would definitely trust them with any issues going forward. They have great deals as well! Devontae was sweeping while I was there and he was so thorough! Great job guys! Keep it up!!!

And I wanted to go on here and give them zero stars. But that is not an option. Let me had a billing issue was billed for stuff that never even asked for. Added phone cell phone lines. The store manger Jaki said that we were at fault because we should’ve read the agreement we were signing. The problem was that when he texted my wife the agreement for the Wi-Fi it didn’t come through and he asked her to hold her phone to check and then he said oh here it is and he agreed to it. So be careful read everything and make sure you know what you’re getting into before you purchase anything at this store. Been with Xfinity for years and never had any issues like this with any other service providers ever and I just read two other reviews with the same situation. One of them went as far as flying a police Report for fraud it’s in the reviews. Read at three months ago. This just happened to me today.

Be careful of this store!!! Went to get Wi-Fi for my home only back in May 2025. Two months later woke up to a message saying my auto payment of $208 had been taken out of my bank account. Went into my app to find that the salesman from the Xfinity store did a bait and switch on me. Found out that he signed me up for four cell phone lines that I did not agree to and never asked him to do. So when I was in the store, he said he was sending me the agreement for the Wi-Fi. He asked me if I received it. I said no he said let me see your phone and then he said there it is and he pressed the agreement himself and now I’m liable for these lines and not getting my money back in the store wants to not help me in anyway that they are not corporate that they are a third-party!!!!!!!! so be careful it’s a lesson learned. Make sure you read your agreements before you sign anything with this store. Xfinity customer service opened up a fraud ticket against them, but the store wants nothing to do with it. so I was basically sick scammed but with the salesman call it is a bait and switch. They bait you and then they switch what you’re getting so they can make an extra 20 bucks in commission.

I received terrible customer service from Devante recently. I went in with billing/ activation issues and he was incredibly rude and dismissive. As my daughter and I explained issues we had about them returning a payment he argued with me telling me I had insufficient funds without him listening to the details, he argued back n forth instead of listening. He even suggested I go to another phone company!
I've never experienced so much attitude from a supposed customer service worker when I went in their hoping for answers. Finally Dani, calmly informed me, I had to take up my issues with agents on the phone which I did. Devante lacks, patience, empathy, kindness and customer service skills immensely and I will be taking this complaint further

I want to make it clear first that the people in the store are great. Noel had me in and out in no time and was very kind and helpful. With that being said, this is the worst internet provider by far. The online customer service is truly abysmal and the ones who manage it should be ashamed at how terrible it is. The robot refused to connect me with an agent, even saying “an agent cant help you” and hung up on me. The app claims my internet is working but i can’t connect to the wifi on anything but my phone and getting no support as to why. Avoid xfinity at all costs.

My intent was to give ZERO stars, but it will not allow you to post a review unless you actually select at least a one star review.
I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the appalling customer service experience my elderly mother and I encountered at the Xfinity store in Derby, CT, specifically with an employee named Dani.
My mother has been a loyal Xfinity customer for over 25 years, and we visited the store to resolve a service-related issue. Unfortunately, the handwritten directions Dani provided led to further complications, requiring us to return to the store. When I expressed frustration about the lost time and confusion, Dani responded with escalating hostility and unprofessionalism. He repeatedly stated he “did not need to help us” unless we changed our tone and, at one point, bluntly told us we “could just leave.”
The situation became so uncomfortable that another employee intervened and offered to assist us. Incredibly, Dani then became irritated with his colleague for trying to help. This entire interaction was not only unprofessional, but entirely unacceptable—particularly when dealing with long-standing customers trying to resolve an issue.
Although initially we hoped to just get the problem resolved when returning to the store, as a result of Dani's behavior, we made the decision to terminate our service altogether with Xfinity immediately. I have never encountered such a lack of courtesy or basic customer service, and would never return to this location.
If you must visit the Derby, CT location, I strongly recommend requesting a different representative or reconsidering your visit altogether. I will also be contacting store management directly to follow up on this matter.

FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY by store manager in Derby!
I applied for mobile, they took all my personal information then denied my application. Taking all my personal info, opened two phone accounts and I get a bill for $ 200 dollars without having any active mobile account.
Filed a police report, they will be held accountable.

Was surprised it was a fancy Purple high tech trailer in the parking lot of the CT Post Mall. Really convenient!! Elijah was really terrific explaining everything to me. Making sure I understood it all. I highly recommend them.
