Having left the chain pharmacies which are just dire horrible places void of customer service , I was so pleased to find this oasis in a sea of mediocrity. I found the pharmacy staff to be extremely friendly and helpful and they actually answer the phone ??

Staff is always friendly and helpful, and they have a nice selection of unique items, cards, toys etc. Plus it's great to support a small pharmacy rather than these big chains.

I love this pharmacy. There are so many products aside from medicinal needs, and I often find it perfect for purchasing gifts for friends and family. All those working there are friendly and helpful.

Recently I had to get several prescriptions filled at the Durham Pharmacy. One prescription was very important according to my doctor. This prescription was denied by my insurance carrier. It turned into a 3 ring circus, when the doctor blamed the pharmacy, the insurance blamed the doctor, etc. It was the pharmacy who had the worst job, of telling me that my prescription was denied once again.In stepped Wally and Carol and there fantastic crew!! This problem was resolved in about 15 hours of phone call and madness.When the pharmacy received the authorization for the prescription, Walter and crew went out of their way to notify me that the medicine arrived.They knew my level of frustration.This is what makes our Town so great. The caring of a local business for its customer base. No chain pharmacy can offer this service.To the whole staff at Durham pharmacy, I want to say Thank You for a job well done!!In these crazy times, I just want people to know that there are businesses, who value their customers, and provide outstanding service.Durham Pharmacy ROCKS !!

First they gave me a hard time about filling my prescription a couple days earlier. Then called and said their supplier doesn’t carry my medication in stock. I try to do business with Durham stores, this is what you get for going small town. I guess I’ll be shopping with Rite Aid
