“The owner is amazing a great person! He values his customers and keeps his store clean! He and his wife actually because she’s also so great. Non judgmental and sometimes you kid might tag along they look out for the kids too. My daughter gets a dumdum lollipop and he even supported her during the summer time when my daughter created her own candy selling business! They are very family oriented and I just can go on and on about how great I think they are. Check em out. You won’t regret it. It’s a pizza shop and a corner store there too.”
“Liquor World is hands down one of the best liquor stores around. The prices are great, the selection is huge, and the staff is always friendly, welcoming, and willing to help you find exactly what you need. You can really tell they care about their customers and take pride in what they do.
I also love supporting a veteran owned business that gives back to the community and creates such a positive atmosphere. One thing that really stands out is the variety they carry for everyone, including great gluten free options and an impressive selection of non alcoholic beverages. It is refreshing to see a store make sure there is something for everybody.

“We just finished a wine tasting tonight and found some new wines to try. What’s so great about this wine store is their willingness to expose you to new wines that are out there. Instead of the same old wine you buy at a Costco or other wine stores; you get to sample wines from all over the world during their bi monthly wine tasting events. Staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable about their wines from where they are grown to the types of grapes they are made from. The place is not flashy but the selection and the prices are awesome. Give it a visit. You won’t be sorry.”

Bob and his team know your name, remember what you like, and genuinely want to help you find the right bottle.
The selection is excellent whether you're picking up a six-pack or stocking up for a big night. The NMWS team also helped me with planning an event. Bob assisted with what to order, let me borrow coolers, and filled them with ice from their onsite machine. On the day of the event, I just showed up and they helped load everything into my car. It's the kind of flexibility and service you just don't get at a big box store.
What really sets this place apart though is the heart behind it. Bob is one of the most community-minded business owners I know. He supports local charities, sponsors little league teams, donates gift cards, and more. He's not just running a business in North Madison, he's genuinely invested in the people who live here.

“Little Rooster has been our go-to liquor store for years. I cannot say enough good things about how customer oriented they are. They have special ordered wine for family events, as well as stocking brands that we enjoy. So although the floor space at the store is small, this does not limit their ability to work with you if you are looking for a special wine or beer that you would like to try and/or stock. Truly a five star business.”
