Amica has always been the cheapest insurance. Amazing customer service. Always helpful if your having a hard time financially, they have been amazing ❤️

The quote was so far gone. I think the person just made up a price. I wouldn’t even look into them. I have a perfect driver record had my license since 16 been 30+ years I haven’t caused an accident, reported a stolen vehicle, or speeding ticket for them to say $549 a month lol

I purchased a house last year and decided to go with Amica for both home and auto because of its stellar reviews on various sites, especially those about its customer service.I am extremely frustrated that they have not lived up to these reviews. My family and I were rear-ended in standstill traffic on the Bruckner Expressway by a large rental truck in July. My handler, Megan Whitlatch notified me that claims with commercial companies typically take months to settle.Without going into too many details, I'll say this: my correspondence with Megan is only through messaging since she does not answer her phone nor does she return calls (which is fine, since I'm ok with messaging), but her responses are very generic and scripted. She will not answer a question directly. In short, she notified me 2 months later that the other party did not have insurance, thus Amica now has to "go after" the driver and it was not "looking good" for our case.Insurance is not my area of expertise, but something did not add up. I decided to do my own research and found out in less than 30 minutes, that the other carrier did indeed have insurance!I called Amica back and spoke with a supervisor, Margaret Santos, who initially was a bit patronizing and insisted Amica did their best to connect with the other party, but was unsuccessful and are still "waiting". Her tone changed when I told her that I have a copy of the Certificate of Liability Insurance, which I got in less than 30 minutes of making a few phone calls. Additionally, she had the audacity to ask if I got the handler's name!I understand things take time and that there's a process, but I executed something in less than 30 minutes that took them 2 months to complete and still failed.Amica hasn't lived up to their half of our contract and left me worried that I have to pick up portions of an accident that wasn't my fault. Thankfully, none of us were injured, but I feel unprotected and that they are only going to assist me when it's in their best interests. I could only imagine what would of happened if we had to be rushed to the hospital and what bills we would have incurred. I would never go with them again and would recommend everyone else to stay clear of them regardless of what you view online! They haven't lived up to their reputation.

Great customer service, friendly. Just a little expensive for car insurance you can get thru Progressive or a cheaper option

Biggest crooks around. Never go on auto pay. They take out double payments for no reason. 12 month homeowners paid off in 10 installments is a scam. You are still making 12 payments but paying double on months 1 and 10. But they don't tell you this. Zero customer service. Impossible to correct their errors, yelling at customers, threatening customers with cancellation when everything paid in time, in full. To date they owe me close to ten thousand dollars in unpaid claim, unused premiums and auto pay fraud. This company should be shut down.

Terrible! Called for a quote for our new home and bandel our cars but they gives us a ridiculous quote of $400 covering only the cars. I guess We’ll stay with Gaico where we’re paying $170. They can’t even explain why this huge difference. Just saying we’re not a cheap company. SMH
