“Huge shoutout to Joe from FBM for an outstanding delivery experience. He was punctual, professional, and handled everything with care from start to finish. Communication was clear the whole way, and he made the process smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to come across someone this reliable—highly recommend Joe if you want your delivery done right!”
“Thank you to QXO in Hartford at 251 Locust St. for assisting House of Heroes and CB Roofing Pro. QXO donated roofing materials to a veteran in West Hartford who so desperately needed a new roof. We know you specialize in helping contractors and that’s what you did to make this project complete in just one day! A community minded organization … We highly recommend them.”
“Needed some lumber for a home project . I didn't want to spend most of my day going thru a whole bunk of lumber for their best # 2 bowed wood with bark still on . Then going thru the torturous ordeal of having it delivered . Wait 5 calendar days for it to be delivered . Instead I went to S % H . What a relief to work with such talented people such as Joe C who took my order the driver who placed it so perfectly in my drive and out of the way and the people who pulled my order . When you have pros and quality materials such as S& H to work with peace of mind is guaranteed . The delivery arrived a day before Joe said it would .”
“My wife and I purchased stair railings from Lyon and Billard for our front steps. The sales rep Glenn was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the products. He was also able to recommend an installer who was familiar with them as well.
On installation day, there were additional items needed, which Glenn picked up at the supplier, and brought to our house himself. This was greatly appreciated.
We couldn't be happier with the results.”
“I searched everywhere to try to find plasterboard for a home improvement that I’m working on. The customer definitely wanted plastered to restore their home to original condition after water damage. This is the only company in the state of Connecticut that had the board I needed it was fairly priced. The customer service was great, they even called their Massachusetts store who does more plaster than their store to get some of the harder questions that I had answered. I had a great experience and I highly recommend this company for any of your drywall or plaster needs.”
“The staff here is incredibly nice and professional. Fast loading

“We drove five hours to pick up siding in a color unavailable anywhere else. We had plenty of help loading it and they even waited for us a bit after closing. Hoping they don't have to stay late often but sure glad they helped us out.”

“I went to Lowe 's to look for a specific towel rack for my parents bathroom. This store is huge. They have all kinds of tools, and items for every part of your home. When I had just purchased my home, I was here pretty much every day, with my dad or my boyfriend looking for something for my house. My screen door is from Lowe's, my living room paint color is from Lowe's, just to name a few.I came across a very friendly sales associate, Jamie who chatted with me for a while and told me they don't have that exact towel rack in store, but I could order it online. This isn't ideal, because I did come to the store to purchase it, but shipping only takes two days. While Lowe's isn't my favorite store, I like going here with someone knowledgeable about the product and their uses. The staff I've encountered has been very friendly and helpful. They sell more then what one might expect from a home improvement store.”
