“Great Sportsman store with wonderful displays that allows dogs. They have alot of merchandise with friendly staff. Fadd's Donuts just draw you in. Great atmosphere.”
“I recently attended the pistol permit and modern weapons class with Darin, and it was my first time ever shooting. The class was extremely well put together—clear, professional, and easy to follow. Beyond that, you can tell the entire operation is organized and run at a high level. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to obtain their pistol permit or for any firearms or self-defense training. Great instructor, great business owner.”
“Havnt been there in a long time. Stopped in today after visiting a couple other stores. The other stores, I didnt even get acknowledged. Walked in was welcomed and I worked with Tyler who was really patient with me as I couldnt make up my mind. He made some recommendations and after fighting with my decision process I settled on somthing I wasnt 100% with and actually changed my mind on the spot. There was no issue what so ever he just said ok and got me excatly what I wanted. The process was seemless and in relation to other shops or stores I was in and out. I have to give credit to every employee in the store. They were all very helpful and really accommodating and friendly. I paid a little more than I initially wanted but I feel like it was definitely worth the little bit extra. I even turned down ammo and a holster but again my decision making process isnt great. So I purchased the weapon went to my car and said ya myab I should get ammo. Went back in grabbed a box of ammo and Tyler again helped out and gave me a discount because I just purchased a weapon. Again every employee in the store was very helpful even chiming in to help me make a decision. I will be returning for sure!! Glad I stopped in.”
“Ok I can relate to the magazine issues with the AR10 magazines tilting follower. At first I was annoyed since after only loading two rounds the follower tilted out of whack. I tried two more mags, same result. So instead I took one apart. Upon inspecting the spring before taking it out I realized it was installed upside down. So I put it back together correctly and voila' the magazine loaded completely with no tilting. I did the same with the other mags and now they all work. I'm posting a photo where you can see the small end would be under the follower (that's upside down. The next photo will represent how it should be installed. Also take a little sandpaper to the sharp edges on plastic follower slightly debur them. As you can see the rounds are correct now.”
“I have been coming here for a few years now and it by far has the cheapest prices in CT. I see a ton of negative reviews about the employees but i have not had a bad experience here personally. Aside from the price advantage, they have the biggest selection of firearms in the state as well. Special shoutout to Lu, Archie, Rico, Jomar and Josh for always being helpful and supporting throughout my purchasing and shooting experiences here. Much love!”
“I had a custom built Sig and the slide was ok but something looked slightly off. I brought this to Tek Arms where Matt stripped down the slide and did a tremendous job Cerakoting it. It came out beautifully. I would highly recommend Tek Arms. They were very accommodating and awesome to work with!”
“I had a great experience at this class! Learned a lot about safety precautions and basic handgun training. Our instructor Jon was very helpful as well! Very glad on how my first experience with ELG went.”
