Our car died in the parking lot of a store in West Hartford (12 minutes away from this shop) so we called AAA at 12ish. They sent out a request, and we waited 2 hours. When we called back the shop was closed and the driver was radio silent. They put Quality Car Care on the second call and "red flagged" it to say it was urgent. After an hour I called back and dispatch talked to the shop who said the driver said his tablet was busted and that's why the ETA was not updating. Another 30m later I called to inquire about an ETA and was told the driver told the shop he couldn't do it, he was on another call but the shop, Quality Car Care, didn't issue the request to another driver but now he was done with the first call his ETA was going to be 4:55. Well, 4:55 came and went and we've been waiting for over 5h now for a tow. I understand that only the last 3+ hours is Quality Car Care's fault, but the fact that they lied about the tablet, didn't reassign a driver and the driver still never showed is terrible customer service. No idea why AAA bothers to contract this company in the area - they don't honor their end of the deal. AAA swears up and down this shop is open on Saturdays but Google says it's not so make of that what you will, I guess. Do yourself a favor and call another company if you have the option, you're never getting a tow with this place.

This company needs to do better with their communication because as a business it’s horrible. I have AAA and Quality Care is contracted to do tows for them in Hartford. At first I was told an hour. The hour comes and I’m told an estimated time is to wait another hour and no one shows up. I proceeded to call AAA to ask them what’s the update and on the tow. AAA couldn’t get in contact with your company to find out an estimated time for a tow. Not one not two but three agents at different times tried to get in contact with this tow company. After waiting 4 and half hours I ended up calling and paying a different tow company.

I would jump through any hoop necessary to avoid business here.Highly unprofessional. I was quoted a price, and time to come pick up my vehicle. The owner and the employee on the phone were not on remotely on the same page. The price nearly doubled when I showed up at the agreed upon time. They demanded cash, and I did not get a receipt. I was basically told to F-off, but they had my car so I was at their mercy.The tires on the tow truck were so bald they couldn't handle the small amount of snow that had fallen in their relatively flat parking lot -- big trucks just don't slip like this when in 4-wheel-high settings, so I had to buy ice melt on my dime for their parking lot just to get my vehicle back.

Tow truck driver was nice and that's it. Do NOT use this business. My vehicle was dropped at the wrong location, with the keys left in it, and since it's a push start vehicle it could have easily been stolen since it was parked overnight. I contacted their dispatcher who was very unprofessional, very rude, and unapologetic. AVOID at all costs.

I want to thank Andre for his serves tonight ... He went above and beyond with making sure he didn't damage my daughters car while dropping it and placing it in its parking spot. I would recommend this tow company to anyone looking for quality service. Thank you Andre!!!

Do not go here! Very unprofessional! I dropped my car off on 3/17 and when it was time for the insurance company to tow it to the junk yard because it was a total loss, the owner Limpy tried to scam the insurance company and me by insisting that I dropped my car off in January so he wanted more money for holding fees/towing fees.(My car was never towed in btw I drove it in). I had to pull up security footage of myself driving my car in January to prove there was no way I dropped it off on the day he claimed before he finally allowed it to be taken from the premises. He was very rude to me and the insurance company and never apologized. He didn’t even document any of my info when I dropped the car off. I should have known then the place was sketchy. Don’t go here unless you want to be scammed.

I’m just giving 1 star because of how they respond to the customer complaints. Especially the one where a woman felt harassed by the driver. I see the owner has no sense of customer service. Also, there are many claims of up-charging. Sounds like a future Judge Judy defendant.

I was in a car accident on Jan 18th. I drove my damaged car until Feb 9th when I parked it at my mom's house and picked up a rental. On 2/23 I picked up my car from my mom's house to have an estimate done at AC Automotive. After having an estimate done, ***** **** told me I could no longer have the rental and suggested I find a shop that will fix my car sooner. I was recommended to Quality Car Care (QCC) by a friend. I brought my car to Quality Car Care on 3/17 and the owner Limpy told me I could leave my car there and they will begin working on it as soon as ***** **** conducts a new estimate. After a month of back and forth with QCC and ***** ****, my car was deemed a total loss and I would receive a settlement check of $8k. I cannot receive my settlement until QCC gives ***** **** permission to remove my car from their grounds. However, Limpy is asking for $6k in holding fees/towing fees, claiming my car has been there since January 25th and it was towed in. My car was never towed in, I drove it in with proof via text messages. I told him this was impossible because I was still driving the car at that time, as my insurance claim had not been settled yet and I was not allowed to have my car fixed yet. Limpy even called me on 4/10 and asked when I dropped the car at his shop. I told him 3/17 and he said ok. Limpy was not claiming I dropped the car off on 1/25 until it was time for ***** **** to take the car to the junkyard. I have proof that the car was still in my possession on 1/25, thanks to security footage from my job. Limpy was very rude to me and the ***** **** agent, demanding we show him evidence that my car was in his possession. However, he has no evidence that my car was ever dropped off on 1/25, because it simply did not happen. I cannot receive my settlement check until QCC releases my car. This is also stopping me from buying a new car, which I paid a deposit on earlier this week and am at risk of losing out on because I do not yet have payment.

Too bad they don’t have 0 stars. I never write a review but the tow truck driver lost my keys. They will not even take responsibility. The company is not trustworthy. I will never used them again and make sure anyone I know doesn’t use them. Also reported them to Allstate Motor Club. The driver said he will call me when he drops off the car and never did. I called him and he did not return call. They do not allow a passenger in the tow truck.

Waited three hours to get picked up from Hartford to Stratford. Connecticut was not allowed to ride with the driver and the driver lost my keys, car and house keys. And when he dropped off my car, no courtesy call to let me know that my car is in my driveway.

Zero stars. Used service through AAA. Left vehicle and customer stranded for over 3 hours in the middle of hartford. never called, texted or confirmed eta. terrible service. Unsafe location. Aweful experience.

I was involved in a car accident not too long ago and please do not use this towing company. Two staff members that I spoke to were very unprofessional and rude as well as used profanity. They also tried lying on my bill for towing to try to get more money out of me. Please never use this company!
