It takes alot for me to write a review and I am completely at the end of my patience. I am a Shop from Home customer. In the past year I have had 5 orders just not show up. I have heard the following excuses: Script driver just cancelled the order for no reason. We just changed delivery service and we dont know why the order was not delivered. My favorite tho: the driver picked up the order but we dont know where he is. The driver reported his phone stopped working and couldnt find the location. I was tild the driver may come tonight or tommorow. Then they never showed. I wrote corporate a letter detailing my experience. The store manager called to try to compensate me after I cancelled my order. I gave Shoprite another chance due to the apology I received. Well today I had another delivery scheduled for 8 to 10. Its now 12 pm lol I give up.

I usually never have a problem in this store, the employees are usually nice, and they have pretty good deals. However my last trip into the store was disrupted when I heard a MANAGER as well as a woman working customer service talking about multiple employees. There was talk of "She needs to be the next one gone" and the names of multiple employees mentioned. Really? You are a manager and this is how you talk about your employees? At least make sure these conversations are done in private at the very least. The people working in the registers are clearly overworked and it is incredibly disappointing to know the manager in charge does not appreciate them or want them there! Do better ShopRite! Who are you hiring to be in charge of your store?

Went in for 4 items and everything took so long between sale prices not being honored at the register to "customer service" blaming you for the issues. It was light out when I went in and dark out by the time this fiasco was over. Why should the customer need to consistently make sure a business is honoring their own sale prices at the register??Never again- not an honest or customer centric business,

Very dingy ShopRite. Went Saturday afternoon and there were a handful of workers, had a urine smell in the back of the store, and the selection of products were extremely limited as the produce wasn't great and shelves weren't stocked. Won't be going back that's for sure.

Needed to replenish my breakfast cereal, toasted wheat germ. I went to THREE supermarkets earlier which did not have wheat germ. Shop Rite had two jars only, bought them both! Didn't realize it would be such a challenge to find. I also stocked up on broccoli, green peppers, and the rest of my list. Had a pleasant checkout with a very friendly and quick cashierI got all the groceries neatly into two bags from home. Had one of the cold prepared pastas already.

ShopRite often frustrates me, yet I find myself going back there lured by sales or $5 or $10 off coupons. What I like: They have lots of items on sale. They hire nice people, and the store is family owned. What frustrates me: Let's start where you walk in - the produce is very hit or mis. It is often not the best quality. While they have good sales, their signage is poor - particularly if you go on Sunday. It helps to know the sales before you shop. Product placement is poor and often odd too. Try to find whole wheat hamburger rolls. Think they're in the bread isle? Nope. They're on the top shelf on an end cap in the middle of the store. Trying to find tortillas? Don't look in the isle marked tortillas (ethnic/Mexican foods) or bread isle, look on a separate rack near the bakery or deli. Those are just a couple examples. One of the most frustrating things Is that it can be hard to get around. They have LOTS of displays in the isles. Combine that with carts of merchandise being packed and people with carts, and you'll often be waiting to pass through an area. Lastly, if you're there on a Sunday (when they start their sales) it may pay to check your receipt. I've found mistakes (or misleading signs that prompted me to buy something only to realize I paid a lot more than I thought) more than once. I really wish this was an easier store to shop in. I might go more often.

Zero star if I could I hate this store and it's employees. Every single time I go here for something there is an issue. God help you if this is your main store. I like how they do have a different selection of items, but most of them are mislabeled and dealing with the receipt or customer service is asking for an extra 10 minutes of your life.today trip was the best. They messed up (shock, hope you were sitting down), I went to have it corrected, said thank you and was told they didn't like the way I used thank you. The women perceived a common courtesy as a f u to the face? nah, i rather tell your entire company and the community f u instead.just a down alright s-show.

Shoprites can be a hit or miss... this one is definitely a miss. The produce is never really that fresh. And as other reviewers have mentioned, the cleaning is lacking. Floors are dirty and shelves get messy/ disorganized very quickly. Checkout situation is an absolute nightmare. None of the self checkout kiosks ever seem to work properly and there are always long lines for the cashiers. The bakery, however, is up to par and the desserts are quite good. Plus the prices tend to be a bit cheaper than Stop and Shop.

I felt like I was going through airport security. My doctor is elderly and still writes paper prescriptions and has a waiver to do so. Upon handing it to the odious woman behind the counter she looks at it, blatantly checking all the security features. I asked if she had ever filled prescriptions from my doctor before, she said she didn’t recognize him. EVERY pharmacist I’ve dealt with in Glastonbury knows my doctor. Clearly his clientele do not use crummy stores/pharmacies like ShopRite and I certainly never will be coming here again. I understand this woman, who apparently was the head pharmacist, was just doing her job, but I was made to feel like some sort of drug dealer. Not happy.
