THE BEST NAIL SALON!!!! I drive all the way from Bridgeport just for them, it’s always worth the drive! The new owner is super sweet and kind with her clients, nothing like the old one!!

After a bad experience in another salon I tried at LV Nails for a refill. Nice staff, the lady who did my nails was precise and worked delicately on my nails. All things that were missing in the other salon. Better result and I also paid less. I don’t live here all year round, but now I know where to go when I’m here

TL;DR - terrible customer service, even after they make mistakes and clearly do a bad job. I do not recommend.
I am writing this review to hold myself accountable. Due to the convenience of this location, I have gone here to get my nails done at the last minute on numerous occasions even after they’ve proven to be lacking in skill & customer service. I have now had my final straw.
My first issue was when Helen ruined my red French manicure and tried to gaslight me and tell me there was nothing wrong with what she did. I came back the next day for her to just do a plain manicure (also pictured) and the shape was terrible so I had to file them myself when I got home.
Another issue that I don’t have pictures of is when the current owner, Ally, gave me a French manicure and I had to come back 3x in a row due to the gel polish chipping off. Inside of starting over from scratch, she implied that this was somehow my fault.
Lastly, I needed a last minute appointment and all other salons were booked so I tried them once again. I went to Sunny and asked her what I should get done since my nails were weak due to years of gel polish. She suggested the dip powder. I pointed out that some of the nails she did were bulky and she said it was because of the shape of my nail beds. This is a lie because I have relatively narrow nail beds. I also told her the nails weren’t straight, she seemed aggravated by this and lazily attempted to file them. I ended up reshaping them myself at home. The very next day, the corners of my nails started lifting and I was getting food and makeup stuck underneath the powder. When I came back to have them fixed, I was once again told that I was to blame for the sloppy work. Sunny said I should switch to gel polish because my nails couldn’t handle dip. I told her this was not an option since gel polish is what caused them to be weak to begin with. She then offered to add another layer of powder to my already bulky nails. I asked her if they would look thick and she said yes. I asked her if I were to leave with thick, bulky nails and told people that LV Nails were responsible, would she be proud of that? Now, with an attitude she asked me what I wanted her to do. I told her I just wanted my nails to look nice. She then, clearly annoyed, began the process of soaking off the powder and redid my nails for free. Where she was talkative and cheerful for our original appointment she now didn’t say a word to me. I tried to show her that I believed the reason for the lifting was because the bond was not applied all the way to the edges of my nails. She ignored me. Also, somehow, she managed to shape my nails in a way that was not bulky this time. Even though she told me before that they were bulky due to the shape of the nail beds.
I will not be going back.

Place is ridiculous. Rude people. Speaking in different languages right in front of you, felt like an episode of Seinfeld. So many upcharges with no prices listed anywhere. It cost nearly 400$ for two pedicures and two manicures. We were in a pinch and decided to give them a shot. We will go somewhere else next time and we suggest you do too.
