Single worst store I’ve ever been to in my 37 years on the planet. Love how they have sales but never have the product. Forget sales, I’d pay 2x the price to never go to that dump again!

This lady is racist. I went shopping today at around 8:30 pm while the young man who was the cashier was scanning my things. She was on the side where they help with the groceries. My son was there because he's big and strong. But the lady started saying things like saying that she wasn't going to carry the bag because it weighed on her. She started saying mean things. Maybe she did that because she saw that we're Hispanic and the truth is, you can see the face of a racist lady. I never like help. I actually like to help. Besides, I walk around with my son because he carries my things. Unfortunately, these people hurt the business. I don't think she should be working in a supermarket since she wouldn't be able to avoid seeing Hispanics. I didn't answer her because she's very old, but for your information, there are a lot of Hispanics. It would be better if she stayed home in her rocking chair.

The best bakery! - wow the cakes (just got a mini one last week) and doughnuts are amazingly fresh and delicious! I won’t go to DD anymore after having these doughnuts

We came at 9:50 pm and right after us they locked the door. We got almost everything we need but we were rushed and told to hurry up as they are closing at 10 pm sharply. I think this my first time of being kicked out of American store. Usually once you get into the store you can shop as long as you need. Not the case here. And if you are arriving late ,keep that in mind. Should mention a large selection of everything.

Small store with not much selection,! Actually this store did a huge makeover with new glass doors in front of many product and a complete overhaul and had a regrand opening recently! Amazing how neat and clean and orderly it is now! Easier to find what you are looking for too! I love shopping here! But it is still a little on the expensive side!

This is a great store, they always have what I need BUT for a while (years) now, the self-checkout area STINKS, literally, not metaphorically. It’s the worst right when you enter it at the first station against the wall. It literally smells like someone pooped their pants or a fish rotted…or both. Without fail, every single time I use the self checkout, I smell it. Other than that, great store!

I’m giving this store a 1-star rating due to my experience at the bakery. A bald, light-skinned man of color with a beard, aged between 35 and 45, completely ignored me while I was waiting to order a cake. After waiting for 10 minutes, I decided to leave, assuming he was busy closing the bakery. However, when a middle-aged white woman approached, he immediately asked her how he could help her. I cannot tolerate colorism, racism, self-hatred, or any form of prejudice. I don’t want anyone else, especially people of color, to experience this kind of passive-aggressiveness or unprofessional behavior. Please consider going elsewhere if you see this man working at the bakery.

Was shopping tonight as I have been doing a couple of times a month since the store opened and was attempting to get some deli items when your deli person got an attitude that was rude and uncalled for because he thought I ordered something that I didn’t He actually threw the bag of meat about 8 ft across the counter. I asked for a manager and a young man came over. Told him what happened and he actually smirked like it was funny. I am a 67 year old disabled vet and am very much involved with the seniors and disabled vets in the area. I will make sure at EVERY event I attend that people will know not to shop at your store. Ashamed that someone should be treated badly after serving his country.

Ran into Shoprite East Haven to get several items, found them and a few other things. The store was well stocked and very clean. Would definitely go there again when we are in that area!

The people at this store have no idea what they are doing. Yesterday I bought some of their store brand ground turkey. When I got home and cooked it, it wasn’t ground turkey at all, it was ground chicken. How can the people in the meat department get away with constantly mislabeling food? What if I was allergic to chicken? This is not the first time things have been mislabeled at this store. A few months ago tilapia was being sold but it was labeled as red snapper. They claimed to not realize until I informed them. Does management even know what they are doing? How can a customer be more knowledgeable about the product than the workers?
