The woman working at the donation center was very helpful and friendly. We have made drop-offs there several times this summer and have always had a positive experience.

The woman was helpful and appreciative of everything we brought. We also wanted our large plastic bins back so she helped us unload everything even though it was within a half hour of closing time

I’ve just had a very negative experience at the East Lyme goodwill drop off. The attendant was incredibly rude to me and acted angry when I couldn’t hear him through the glass. He offered no assistance. It was alarming to have someone treat me like that in a place where I only had previous positive experiences. The person was sitting inside with the lights off and the air conditioner on and had the door barricaded with a basket -when I couldn’t hear that he was saying, he got up and yelled at me. I am very polite and not accustomed to being treated so rudely. I’ll drop off elsewhere from now on.

Great drop off point. Load items into cart and bring to attendant. Very helpful. Receipt there if you want it.

Had a terrible experience last night when attempting to drop off donations. Worker there came out and verbally attacked us as we were unloading the car. He accused us of dumping, because we placed items near the door. We tried to explain that we were unloading the car before bringing items in, but he continued to yell at us, being extremely rude. As we were lifting items near the door, he slammed the door shut on us. Very poor service.

I am handicapped, have to use a cane and had several bags of donations. The personnel told me where to put the bags and walked off. It took me 5 trips between my car and the bins and was a great strain. I will not be bringing my donations to this location in the future.
