Brian performed a pre-purchase inspection on a 987 Cayman S for me, an out-of-state buyer who hadn't seen the car in-person, so it was important to get an expert opinion. It was clear from the initial conversation that he is very knowledgeable, passionate, and really cares about his work and doing right by the customer. And then he started on the PPI and provided updates along the way and it became obvious the dude is extremely detail-oriented, the exact person you want if you care about your car. I had him stop the PPI because the car had some issues which killed the deal for me, and he understood and ended the inspection early at my request. Worth every penny. I also work in German car repair and was overall very happy with my experience.
Brian - happy to announce I found THE exact Cayman I was looking for just a couple weeks later! Have to thank you because I was getting almost desperate for a Cayman and your thorough reporting on the PPI encouraged me to wait for the right one. All the best to you guys.

Just bought a used BMW and took it to Inline for them look it over it. They did an extremely thorough job and repaired some outstanding issues with the car. Brandon was really detailed with his explanation of what things were done and what things might need to be done in the future even including pictures. If you don’t want to the hassle with the local BMW dealer, this is the place to bring your car and i’ll definitely be having all future work done here!!!

Brian & crew really put some new life back into my ‘97 Z3 which had suffered from some deferred maintenance by the previous owner. Communication was on point throughout the whole experience and now I know how a proper Z3 should drive! Thank you Brian & Inline Team.

I had a problem with my Z4 going into what looked like a partial transport mode (Blower only on low, no ac, all else seemed to work) afet trying to start with a weak battery. I thought the worst; possibly a problem with the blower or its control. I took it to Inline and met the owner, Brian. He suggested removing the battery connections, which I did overnight, but the problem returned. It turns out, he had also done some research after I left because the problem was unknown to him. I brought the car back and he diagnosed it as the heater/ac/ventillation module being in transport mode from the battery bounce and reset my modules, checked for no other problems, reset the clock and sent me on my way with only a 1 hour shop time charge. I am very impressed with his capabilities and honesty. I will definately bring my Z4 back for service and recommend other BMW owners in SECT to do the same.AJG.Update: November, 2020I just had my yearly service and I am thoroughly pleased with InLine.Brian and Brandon do a great job of checking over the car, as it does not get driven much particularly in the winter. If you have a Bimmer, go see these guys!AjGUpdate: October 2021My Z4 had a couple of problems. The water pump was quickly diagnosed but a strange ticking sound seemed like the AC compressor after chasing the noise with a stethoscope. Brandon tried a new pump, but to no avail. It turned out that it was the alternator. Brandon replaced the original compressor and recharged the system at no cost to me and replaced the alternator. The car runs like a top (again).I cannot say enough good things about this repair shop.AjG

From the routine to the seemingly impossible, Inline has done an amazing job every time! Brian and Brandon are extremely skilled, trustworthy, friendly and take the time to answer your questions and explain their work thoroughly. They maintain my 2012 X5 and keep it running better than new! Over the past year they have also set about repairing and mechanically restoring my 2003 330ci. They started with a post purchase inspection and developed a phased repair / restoration plan which we have been following. It has been a learning and rewarding experience witnessing Inline improve the operability, reliability and restoring the driving experience back to this car! This is the best auto repair experience I've ever had, and at my age, there's been many. Brandon explained what needed to be done, quoted a price and time frame and did the repair. Car now runs perfectlySounds like a simplistic explanation of what happened, but we all know it never goes like that.If you're looking for a great place to get quality work done on your car, THIS IS IT!

This shop did some work on our x3 and we were very happy with them. The owner, Brian took plenty of time to explain everything and was spot on with his price quote. The work was not cheap but you truly get what you pay for and this was a rather large job. He guaranteed his work for 2 years, which is unheard of for an independent shop or even a dealer. The work done was fully documented with pictures and explanations and emailed to us. All in all I was very happy with the service, and the car is running great at this time. Fit me in on short notice. Was 300 miles from home when my BMW X5 was misfiring. Fix was simple, a lose connection left over from a recent repair. They also identified a few other minor issues my local mechanic missed. They would be my go-to shop if they were closer to home. Very thorough, very customer friendly.
