I have nothing but great things to say about guy's oil. Tonight we figured that the boiler in the house was producing hot water but was NOT producing heat. When I first called the gentleman that answered asked if we needed them to come to the house tonight. (Our heat is maintining at around 61 degrees). I responded that we should be good till tomorrow. The nice lady that always answers the phone(I really should get her name at some point) then came on the phone and said that it is going to be too cold and that they are not leaving us with out heat and asked if someone would be home this evening. They were at our house, repaired out boiler, and out of there within 90 minutes. They are just an amazing company and have been nothing but prompt, courteous, and reliable.

I’ve been warned about issues with Guy’s from many people that had issues with them recently, and years ago. I tried to give them a fair shot anyways. They did annual maintenance on my furnace last year. I came home today and was without heat (despite having a full tank of oil). Guy’s would not discuss with me what was wrong. They didn’t apologize that I was without heat. They instead started asking me where I bought my oil and told me I should have bought oil from them. They then told me that they could come out in 2 weeks to fix my heat (it is December 28 in New England and temperatures are below freezing). I tried to talk to several people at Guy’s and explain that they performed maintenance on my furnace last year and that I was a customer of theirs, which they recalled. They still could not help me any sooner than 2 weeks. I called a different oil company that was not a full service company (like Guy’s claims to be). That other company was willing to have a short conversation with me and the problem was solved quickly and efficiently and I had no frozen pipes.

I woke up this morning to no heat. Daniel from Guy’s came out promptly, prepared with the right parts for my furnace, and was able to get my heat back up and running within about an hour. Thank you for the prompt weekend emergency service.

Brought my car in for an oil change yesterday. Of course, with the quarantine, the waiting room is closed (understandably) so was prepared to wait outside, reading a book. Well, Chris saw me standing near the side of the building and he immediately brought out a chair for me to use. How thoughtful this young man is!!! And, the service only took a short time so I was on my way home in no time. Have to say - this is the most credible and honest company to do business with. They don't gouge you on price; they inform you of upcoming service (brakes) that they'll note on my file; so they are watching out for people and safety. And, several service people walked by me and all greeted me with a smile and a 'hi'. Just so friendly people! Made my day. Keep up the good work, Guys Oil Service! You're top notch in my book!

Small gas station with comparable prices and is full service. I found myself out this way and was in need of Diesel.

Loved this little place! Went for brunch and had some great pancakes. Huge menu with lots of options. Service was very nice and helpful. Great place!

I've been here a few times and I have to say, I've never had a bad experience. In fact, the service has always been stellar, the food is always delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is exactly what a local mom-and-pop joint should be like. Tonight we had a TERRIBLE experience at Main Street Grille and decided to come to Charlie's instead, and found that I should have just come here in the first place. Charlie's Place made our night: our waitress, Sherry, was fabulous! The food was perfect (the best burger I've had anywhere near East Lyme) and I paid less for 3 meals than I did at Main Street Grille for 3 cups of soup. This is definitely becoming our favorite go-to when we want a home-made meal without turning on our stove.

I've been going to Charlie's for many, many years, and I always left full, and very satisfied. The Menu is the perfect size and the appetizers and entrees are delicious. The breakfast portions are ample, and delicious. Lunches are wholesome and plentiful. Service is always great, and the owners are always right there, making sure every customer is enjoying a fine dining experience.

Not trying to be funny, but this is the worst breakfast I have ever had in my life. I've tried it twice, same result. The only positive I can think of is that the service is decent, but the parking is horrible and eggs are so gross I couldn't eat 1. I hate to trash a place but I seriously don't understand how anyone could give this place more than 1 star. If the meals were free, I would still drive by this place as fast as I can.
