Sara L is absolutely amazing! She always does such a good job on my hair. She makes sure that no matter what I'm always happy. My hair was having a hard time lifting and when I let her know I wanted to go a little lighter and that I wasn't happy ( not her fault at all just the way my hair is) she not only responded quickly but compassionately and was willing and able to get my hair to what would look best on me. And I ended up LOVING it even more than my original idea!!!! I put my faith and trust into her and it payed off. She is so VERY talented and gifted and is just an amazing woman. I feel so comfortable and relaxed knowing I'm in her hands and care.

I brought my teenage daughter for a simple trim (2" of slightly wavy hair) from Brooke. I left to run a quick errand and within 2 minutes my daughter texts me to say her hair wasn't washed. She was too embarrassed to ask Brooke so I called the front desk who told me it was the hair dresser's choice to wash or not. I've gone there for several years and my wonderful hairdresser (Amber) always washed my hair, no discussion. Within 5 minutes, my daughter says her trim was done. I called the front desk again to say there is no way her hair was cut in this little time. The front desk said it is up to the hair dresser to cut the hair. The hair dresser said she didn't need to blow dry her hair bc it was dry (I had also booked a blow dry). She then tried to sell my daughter on doing her hair for her upcoming prom. Upon returning to the salon, both the hair dresser and receptionist were adamant that the unwashed, quick cut was worth the money I spent. I was not offered an apology or a refund. When we got home, my daughter told me the hairdresser cut her hair while my daughter stood up (as in, not sitting in the chair). And upon closer inspection, the simple trim was VERY uneven. I emailed the salon notifying them of the experience and requested a refund. The next day, I receive a voicemail saying I get a salon credit for the "miscommunication" that happened. I have been going to Amber for haircuts for years and I adore her and the hair cuts she does. I am sad that I cannot go back there given the poor treatment my daughter received from Brooke the hairdresser, the receptionist, and management. So, moral of the story- book with Amber if you choose to go to this salon.

Words cannot describe how beautiful our hair was for my wife and I on our wedding day. Paula and the stylists at That Look really took things to the next level and exceeded expectations. We held our wedding in New Haven ... Paula, Rachel, and her team from That Look were able to deliver a flawless proposal for pricing and services, as well as traveled to my wedding destination and coordinated with the makeup artist (from another company) extremely well. Talk about EASY PEASY!!! Vibe was on point!!!! We had two brides, plus a bridal party of seven additional women ... Paula and the team managed everything PERFECTLY and to our schedule (early, in fact)! Where as we were a little apprehensive planning our wedding 3,000 miles away from California, Paula, Rachel, and the team took care of all of our worries. What an honor! We couldn't have asked for better wedding day hair. We would highly recommend this business for your wedding needs! From updos, to half-ups, to glam waves and even extensions, these humans know their stuff! Pro tip: Book a trial before your big day so everyone is on the same page!

I just LOVE my stylist Sara L. She does a great job, has an amazing way about her and ,makes me laugh. Sara just recommended a new "LOOK" that I have never tried before. I love my updated hair cut. You guys DESPARTELY need some new magazines. Not all of us play around with our phones, and it would be nice to read a little if we have to wait. (although I'm rarely kept waiting more than 5 minutes)

I had my wedding makeup and hair done here along with my matron of honor and my mother in law. They made it a magical experience with so much attention to detail. I felt pampered and well taken care of. My wedding party and I looked stunning.

Took my daughter here to get her a beautiful haircut to start her new life at the University with... we were assigned Taylor... it is not the haircut we asked for. We showed her pictures, she had plenty of hair to work with but kept cutting until she looked like a BOY!

I got a good haircut, but sadly, it is way shorter than I asked for. I went from very long hair to a short/medium and I want to cry. I'd give less stars but it is a good cut, i just hate it on me and it is not what i asked for.
