Tumbleweeds is a funky, eclectic, and family-owned store on Niantic's main street. It is a blast from the past and a must-visit retail institution. The shop offers a huge and insanely impressive selection of new and used records, CDs, and cassettes, featuring a balanced cross-section of genres from blues, jazz, and rock to reggae, pop, and soul. The front room is scented with incense and filled with a wonderful variety of items including Niantic t-shirts and hoodies, hippie and funky clothing, tie-dye, jewelry, accessories, gifts, witchy items, and so much more. The back record room is a treasure trove of great nuggets and rare finds. The staff is always friendly, helpful, courteous, and informative. With righteous and fair prices, it’s an all-around wonderful experience and a go-to shop for locals and visitors alike.

My favorite store in Niantic! It's a must visit every time I'm in town! Love their wide selection of records, clothing, stickers, and decor. There's too much to list. Great location and wonderful staff, always friendly and helpful!
