“My son and I were in the Hartford area from NYC and stopped in at Craftec Hobbies on Saturday 7/27/24. They have really interesting vintage kits at great prices and the manager (sorry, forgot to catch your name!) was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and even willing to negotiate a bit on some kit prices. We ended up picking up three nice kits and he loaned us a tool we needed too! If you are interested in model kits, you need to make the trip to Craftec!!!”
“Got a little truck from here a few weeks back to bomb around the yard with my son. The service was awesome, awesome vehicle inventory, and an indoor track I was able to try the new truck out on as we finished up. Very helpful staff and neat atmosphere for RC heads and all!”

“Solid prices for sealed product and all singles are at market. I've found them to be the best priced store for singles in the area.
It's hit or miss on how approachable/findable the staff are. If you make enough noise someone is sure to come out and help you.”
“Excellent toy store, there aren't many of these types of stores left these days, they have an excellent selection, and the employees are always incredibly kind and helpful. Highly recommend!”
“Have been by a couple times now havent been disappointed. This location is MASSIVE! Hundreds of raw comics, books and high detail figures for collection. Also and the young Spanish guy running the card section is a fantastic employee. Very attentive to customers needs even if they are extremely busy. No issue looking up cards and no issue cutting a deal for multiple cards. If you are looking for great condition raw singles, slabs, sealed boxes or graded comics stop by here! They also have multiple tables and do card tournaments weekly. Give them a shot!”
“Was in the area and needed a few things. One register open which was having issues. Cashier said l could use the self checkout. I refused so she rang me out on the self checkout. I don't work at Michaels.... they're getting my $$
These companies are putting people out of jobs! Ridiculous corporate greed!”
“Having a few hours to kill on my way to the airport, I chose this shop on a whim. I'm very glad I did. They have a phenomenal manga selection, one of the best I've ever seen. I was able to fill several holes in my collection. While the prices aren't exactly low, they are fair. Should I find myself in Connecticut again, I will be sure to stop by.”
“I can't tell you about much, but if you're in the market for yarn specifically; this is your ONLY stop. No one else will have the same massive size of selection other than online and you can't feel the yarn online, just saying”
