There's something about this store..Yes it's one of the only stores around. It's very well stocked, organized and clean. The staff are always friendly. The store is usually quiet, and there is a comforting energy here.

It sucks that this is the only store in town because there's always issues. Items that ring up for more than marked, freezers that up until recently were constantly broken and empty, debit/credit card machine down, air conditioning not working so they close or power is out and they're closed(no generator?). The town deserves something more reliable

You know, Ive got to give DG props. They will open up a store in the middle of farmland, in the middle of a desert, in the middle of any area where there is absolutely nothing else around. This is the case in Eastford. Its all farmland and woods...and then you go around a bend in the road and BAM...there's a Dollar General. Perfect spot for some quick essentials in an area where there really isn't any other option.
