“I don’t usually do reviews but I have to today. My Dtr wasn’t able to get her prescription because there wasn’t a pre authorization and she needed it today. I called the pharmacist and he told me that, I then called the on call Dr who happened to be my Dtr’s Dr and she said she ordered it and didn’t get any flags of no pre authorization. I called the pharmacist back and he said it didn’t go through on his end but it sometimes can take a day and they didn’t have the drug there either. He said he would call the insurance company and see what he could learn from them. He was the only one working there at this time. The pharmacy closed at 2pm and this was at 1pm. When I called him back he hadn’t had a chance to call and took my phone number to call me back when he had any information. In the meantime I called the Dr back to I let her know and she called a different drug in to a different pharmacy that stayed open later. I got a phone call from the pharmacist not much later and he said the insurance company stated we could only get the drug at cvs or through the mail. I am so grateful to the pharmacist for going above and beyond and getting to the root cause!!! Thank you!! ?”

The staff is always warm and friendly and the pharmacists are always willing to answer my questions and concerns. It’s refreshing to walk into a small, family run business and have it feel that way and feel that the staff genuinely cares for their customers and their jobs, unlike some of the bigger chains like CVS or Walgreens. “Had to transfer because of my insurance. I came in and within 20 minutes the technician Nikki helped me get everything into the system and even set me up for texts and called my doctor for one of the prescriptions I didn't have any more of. While I was there everyone that came to the counter was greeted by name! I hope my ins doesn't make me change again. This seems like a happy pharmacy.”

“Cannot recommend this pharmacy enough. I needed a prescription refilled before my vacation and also would need to have it refilled after vacation when there would be no more refills left. Asked if there was any way it could be refilled for 90 days instead of 30 because my followup appointment for the condition was going to be months later. The pharmacist completely understood my somewhat rambling message and dealt with my doctor to get everything straightened out. Can't thank you enough! These guys rock!”

I recently switched from CVS in Stafford because they always had some issue w RX or something not right... the drive-through line was ridiculous. Sometimes waiting up to 15/20 mins or more.. certainly not convenient. Even inside the store, there's always a delay of some sort..Also The pharmacy staff is also unpleasant and kinda rude.Walgreens has impressed me so far with their promptness and accuracy. I'm glad I decided to switch.”

If they don't have something in stock they give a polite explanation (not an excuse!) and problem solve while waiting for said product to come in. In my specific case, they found that the CVS down the street (632 Middle Turnpike, Storrs, CT 06268) had the needed medication. “Went in to have blurry photos redone. Didn't get her name, may have been a manager was great in redoing them even while getting constant phone calls that a delivery came in. She left us to pick up photos from a young man, Cameron to finish the order. Store was short staffed so it was only her and Cameron working. For someone so young, Cameron had a great work ethic, he was calm, patient and kind to the customers. Thank you both for your help and for doing a great job working under pressure!”

“I have almost always had very good eexperiences here with this Pharmacy and Store. There were a few hiccups with my Prescriptions on varying occasions but the Pharmacy Manager immediately took control of the situation and found where the problem had occurred and he assured me that it would not happen again. He gave me his word that he would personally be the one to dispense my Medications to ascertain that there would not be any further issues until all other employees were properly instructed by him how to correctly read and fill my Prescriptions. I am very happy with the Exceptional Service that I receive from this Pharmacy.”
