When I bought my wife a new phone the agent never told me I could trade in her old phone. Once I found I could I returned to the store to be told it had been 31 days since I bought the phone, and the offer was only for 30 days. I also was never told about the 3o day period. The manger told me to call customer service, which I did as I waited at the store. I spent almost an hour, most of it on hold. I was eventually told I needed to talk to the returns department. This was an automated service. They said I had a long wait and could chat w/ "someone". The someone was an automated "agent" that could not help w/ the issue. I eventually was able to get to chat w/ a live agent. They told me I had to call customer service. I am currently waiting for my call back estimated at 89 minutes from now. I called the Enfield (Elm Street) store to speak to the manager and was told they were really busy. When I asked for the manager's name, I was told they couldn't share that over the phone, and I needed to visit them. I had just spent an hour at the store already w/o anyone helping me and I didn't plan to travel back there now.
Absolutely the worse customer service I have every received. When I bought the phone, the manager, provided gruff service. Should have left then.

The worst AT&t store ever. They are all so rude the manager doesn’t care about customers if you don’t have Emily attending to you over here, forget it. They don’t take back traded phones the manager is the issue in this store she needs to be fired. She’s so rude, wicked and not professional at all. If you love yourself don’t go to this store because you will regret it

They don’t deserve the one star but it’s the minimum by the system.
I’m an AT&T customer for over 15 years.
On Saturday November 23, 2024 I visited the local AT&T store in Enfield, CT. to switch the service from prepaid to post paid.
Customer service is zero but this’s not what this review for.
I had such a hard time like I can’t keep up my number, I had to go through security questions!!!? most of the questions were outdated and didn’t contain any accurate information.
The switch service was denied I don’t know why!!?
The good outcome of this experience that I crossed the road to the Verizon store and in 15 minutes I walked out the store with a free new phone, same number and post paid service that fits my budget.
I don’t recommend AT&T

Don’t go here if you can’t talk to Emily she appears to be the only person that cares about their job we spoke to an older gentleman with glasses last time we were there who was rude speaking over me and my girlfriend multiple times and still couldn’t give us a straight answer on how much our bill would be or why we couldn’t log into our account saying that our bill would be “online” but how could we access it if our account on the app/website wouldn’t work seemed like a “temporary issue” and would “fix itself” turned out we had multiple accounts but he didn’t seem to care to even look at our phone to figure that out or even tell us that our bill would be emailed to us or when it would be he was too absorbed in his own tablet

I went to trade my phone and purchase a new one. I was waiting for an hour to transfer files to new phone. And then the business hour is over, the staff told me to go home and finished the process. I did it and came back to return the old phone. And the other staff said they need the authorized person to return the phone. So, my wife who is authorized went there. He said the phone needs to be fully charged. If they give us full manual of how to trade phone at the first time, it would be easiler. They gave us such a hard time. What a waste time!

I would give a 0 star if possible. I have never met less knowledgeable or helpful staff. They were also very rude. I ended up at the Windsor store and they quickly and professionally resolved my problems. The staff in Enfield needs training in their products and their customer service.

Since switching from T-Mobile I have gone to Enfield AT&T twice to get assistance setting up my new phones and doing a trade in of my old ones. They said they could not help me even though online it said I could return old phones to any store. They would not ship my old phones back and couldn’t explain to me why. I went home and called AT&T directly for help and they said any store has to take the phones and they were filing a complaint on their end. I will be going to a different location even if I have to drive further.

Awful experience. I was in there yesterday buying an iPhone 14. The person who helped me, couldn’t answer any question I had. I felt like I was bothering him because I wanted to upgrade my phone. I felt so awkward and uncomfortable. I wanted to ask for someone else, but didn’t want to be rude. I should have just asked. It was awful and I’m left wishing I had want to a different phone company.

Very poor experience today at this location. As is often the case, I was misinformed by a worker there about cost of products and what options I had to receive a new device. After agreeing to a plan for an iPhone 14 that I thought would be best financial outcome for me, I spoke to a customer service representative that let me know the gentlemen who helped me did not give me the best deal possible. I went back to the store after this and attempted to change to the incentive plan I was told over the phone. They did accept and do this for me, but only after I was forced to pay a 55$ restocking fee and return the phone that was already correctly set up with my phone number. I didn't understand why I would need to restock this device if it is already activated and a part of my plan. Now, My day was wasted at the store solving this issue, I paid an extra 55$ and I still don't have a phone in my hands. Do not go to this location

I thought I had great service when I went in to get a replacement phone. Then I looked at my bill and saw unauthorized changes to my account. The lady changed all my services plans down to the bare minimum and my new one in the top tire when I specifically asked for the new one to be on starter. Also don’t believe them when they say you have to get a new line to get “X” promotion because it’s simply not true as someone who used to work there myself. Last but not least after I confronted her with this and asked why and what she can do about it she said there was a customer coming in and they were of higher priority than I was and chased me off the phone. Do not let them use “the system sometimes changes things itself” as an excuse because it does not, and if you pay attention you will make sure everything is right. Ask about the commission structure before you buy.
