“I was not too sure about trading my jeer grand Cherokee in for one with less miles. In sales I dealt with David S. Nice guy.! The day I went to pick up the car, everything seemed to be fine. Drove off the lot. Got a few miles out and all of a sudden engine light came on! Drove back to Lia in Northampton very upset. Then I met Joseph Debuc service guy. I’m pretty sure he saw I was SO disappointed. My anxiety was high! Joe gave me a loaner to use until they could find what was wrong. It took a few days but thanks to Dave S and Joe all was fixed. And Dave S was my salesman. Keeping my fingers crossed that all is fixed, thanks to Joe D keeping my cat!”
“On Monday April 24TH my Ford Taurus broke down on the way home from work. They suggested a local Towing service that came within 15 minutes to tow my car. Turns out I needed a new starter. 2 HRS after my car was towed it was fixed. I am so thankful for the wonderful service I received.”

“I was experiencing some rough engine operations, stalling when cold, and some noise at start-up. With my regular mechanic's help we eliminated the basics - spark plugs, coil packs, even heavy carbon fouling on the intake valves. The car continued to have issue when cold. My mechanic recommended I go to Lia for OEM diagnostics and service. I've been using Lia on and off since 2000. Jason Farwell, the Service Manager, was able to get me into an appointment that fit my schedule. With the car at the dealership at 0800 hours, I had a diagnosis before 1100 hours. Fortunately the parts were available to make the recommended repair and I was driving home in my car before 1600 hours the same day.Since the repair was made over a week ago, there has been NO ISSUES with the engine sputtering, stalling, or making odd noises. Jason and the mechanic team at Lia got the right fix applied. My car seems to be running like the day I took it out of the dealer's showroom.Thank you Jason Farwell and the Lia Service Team!”

“After 25 plus years in the garage, my beloved 1952 MG TD was in serious need of help. I had expected it to be my retirement project but the restoration was beyond my ability. The issues were numerous and required a wide range of expertise to address. Just a few examples include the engine, which had seized, the upholstery, which had been completely destroyed by mice, the convertible top, which needed replacement, and the gas tank, which had rotted out.Enfield Auto Restoration is nearby and conveniently located for me. They were, therefore, an obvious first choice when searching for a restoration shop. I initially met with Ray, the owner, to discuss my car and get a tour. I was very impressed and actually amazed at some of the work they were doing. It was a complete shop that included separate areas for for such things as upholstery, paint, metal fabrication, and wood.One of the first things that they worked on was the gas tank, which on my car is on the exterior. They were able to cut out the bad area and weld in new metal that they had shaped to the original curved contour. In the end, it was a perfect job. My car remained there for the rest of the winter while they addressed the other issues, typically moving around in various sections of the shop. My MG is now back on the road and I'm very happy with the results, especially after all the years it spent in my garage.With regard to the billing, the bills typically came once a month by mail. Each bill included an itemized list of parts and materials, work performed, man hours and labor cost. In some cases, they also included photographs of the work. The billed hours always seemed reasonable for the work preformed. I also know that they keep careful track of the time spent on the job. Each technician clocks in and out on a computer when working on a particular car.I would recommend Enfield Auto Restoration. This is a friendly and honest shop. It is owned and operated by real car people. I would also be remiss if I didn't mention Rick, the shop manager. On more than one occasion, Rick exceeded my expectations when it came to customer service. Thanks Rick!”
