Had a great experience with Bedding Barn! I had a lot of questions and Pam answered every single one of them thoroughly and patiently to help me find what I needed. I did some shopping around- prices were comparable but ultimately I went with Bedding Barn and am very glad I did. I was able to take advantage of a promotion, plus their set up/delivery is very fairly priced. They were punctual and efficient, the bed is great. Everything quality across the board but I am most happy with the service. It was a pleasure talking to a human being not a fast talking robot trying to upsell me. Thank you Pam for everything.

Salesman was very annoying, and never asked even 1 question about our preferences. I bought an expensive top-of-line mattress & box set. After sleeping on it 1 night, it caused the arthritis in my back & hips to ache and I was sore all over. When I called about returning for a refund, they said no refunds allowed. All they offer is a “one-time comfort exchange” for another set of equal or less value plus a $135 exchange fee plus tax. They should not be in business. Horrible. Shop elsewhere!

The salesman we talked to clearly hasn't adjusted his sales pitch in probably 40 years... He immediately made a beeline for us and opened up with the oh-so-charming boomer "haha I only tolerate my wife" humor and directed all his painful old timey jokes at me while giving my partner a sly wink and saying "happy wife, happy life" over and over again. I was skeeved out and mentioned that if anything, it'll be my partner making the final decision since he has sciatica. I also made it very clear that we already did our research and that we said that we prefer to try out beds undirected and that he should go help other customers. He absolutely would not take the hint, kept patronizingly going through the motions of explaining to us basic information and kept aggressively ordering us around to try beds that we had no interest in while ignoring my stated preferences and the fact that we were already *actively* trying out beds we actually were interested in.Needless to say, this shopping experience was awkward.

I have been going here for 40yrs. Went in got some prices. Shoppped around other place beat your quote went back and still wouldn't match the other price I got. I was said but I have now took my business else where. It show know loyalty to me for my loyalty for all those year my parents started and I continued. Sad but sometimes we need to move on.

I have been bedding hunting with my partner and we started at Mattress Firm. We enjoyed the experience, and brought our quote to Bedding Barn to see if they could offer anything different. The gentleman was probably one of the worst salesmen I've experienced. He didn't ask us any questions about our preferences or budget, didnt' ask about what we do, he just assumed that we couldn't afford a higher quality bed and had us hop around to probably 7 different mattresses without any explanation. We were willing to pay around $3,000, and he completely killed it by only showing us lower end beds. He was very patronizing and spoke poorly of Mattress Firm- said they beg him to work there and he never says yes. He also VASTLY misrepresented Connecticut statutes regarding resale of already purchased and returned beds. He told us that they don't disclose if they're selling you a technically used bed, which is inaccurate, not to mention illegal. This gentlemen also stated that he likes to have his clients come in multiple times- 2 or 3 to be exact- which is a HUGE turn off. If he were doing his job properly, it would be a one-and-done deal. ASK US QUESTIONS! He was too busy talking about his family and his life, he didn't ask us a single question the entire hour we were there. So turned off. will definitely be going back to Mattress Firm where they are honest.
