Expensive for what it's worth but it is nice. I will say I’ve had a lot of things stolen so lock your car and don't leave stuff outside your door or anything but otherwise it's good.

Recently moved in and I absolutely love this community! The buildings are beautiful and everything is extremely well kept. Shirley and the rest of the staff and maintenance are super friendly and have been prompt with any questions I've had. Residents are also very welcoming and it's nice and quiet.
The pictures do not do it justice, it's stunning.

Think it's extremely nice. But the price of it is too high. And is too high for where it is located, with the crime, urban decay, and low income status in that area of town.

The only pro of living here is the nice amenities like the pools and gym, and relatively nice landscaping. Otherwise it is narely livable and a constant battle to fight mold out of your apartment, loud neighbors, and the smell of weed and cigarettes being smoked inside. Everything in our apartment was falling apart due to old age including every appliance, cabinet, window, and door. It was a fight to have functioning appliances that were included in the lease. The office staff seem like they're playing dumb and present as useless if you need anything. They also increase the rent every year, which is already unreasonably high for a vermin and bug and mold infested, broken down apartment. The laundry rooms are expensive, abused, and do not wash your clothes. The three years I was burdened with living here was a curse. Truly a disgusting dump.

I really love Bigelow Commons for many different reasons I love the community there. If you’re single it’s a great place to be because everyone is very friendly and you can meet like-minded individuals. The outside pool in the summer is quite festive for the tenants. There are all different age bracket who live there. I’ve been there for seven years and absolutely love it and can’t imagine living anywhere else!!

This is a very nice complex with a maintenance crew that is the pillar of the society here. They treat everyone’s place as if it was their own. I just moved in a few days ago and not only did they fix issues I had noticed moving in, but diligently attend to any issues I had moving forward. If you want a place to call home, this is it!!! Love love love the leasing office, maintenance team, and the tenants are super understanding / helpful with point of contacts and directions. Spacious and comfortable! No need to look further if you find your comfort here :)

We've been here for about a 1 1/2 month now.
Some of the issues that are addressed are caused by tenants.
Cardboard dumpster- people throw trash in or on the ground next to it. They must not be able to walk another 50 feet to the trash compactor. Bigelow should have a dumpster with a slit. That way you have to break down the cardboard and minimize regular trash in there.
They do need atleast another dumpster on the otherside of the complex.
Inside the buildings are not too bad. Sometimes people do leave stuff for free, but I'm sure some just do it when they move out.
Hallway carpets could use a shampoo, but they do get vacuumed
Dog feces is an issue. I have seen some on the ground next to the trash bin, and some who just walk away like they are in the forest. They provide bags for you to pick it up and some still don't do it. I personally would suggest dog DNA registration. That way they can match the DNA to the dogs owner and charge a fee.
I do wish they had a separate visitor parking.
I know the surrounding area is not the greatest, but honestly crime can happen anywhere. My wife has walked our dogs at midnight within the complex. Sometimes there's 1 other person walking their dogs at night.
Overall, I'm happy even though we've been here for a short time

I moved in the Summer of 2022 with my 13lbs Shih Tzu and have had an absolute blast living here. The ladies in the offices; Mindy, Maria, Stephanie, Shirley and Julie have been quick and efficient when something comes up. They also do their best to keep our community engaged, whether it be through Karaoke nights, pool parties, door decorating, etc. I love it here!

I absolutely love my apartment. It has all of the charm and amenities anyone could ask for. Everyone is friendly and the management is very responsive. I would highly recommend anyone moving into Bigelow Commons.

I’ve been at Bigelow for a few years now and for the most part I am very happy with everything. Staff and maintenance are always very helpful and friendly. My unit is very spacious and the neighbors closest to me are pretty quiet, friendly and keep to themselves. Unfortunately could not give them a five star review due to the fact that not all dog owners clean up after their fur babies :( But, with that being said I do highly recommend Bigelow Commons for your next home.

If you have a dog I suggest you try another place. There is dog feces everywhere and no one picks it up not even management. There is garbage in the hallways and in the parking lot. The washer and dryers are never working properly and people trash the areas. The gym... you pay extra for that except the equipment is busted and if you try to sit on a bench you teeter totter because it doesn't sit flat. When you ask one of the women in the office they give their "customer service response" but make no attempt to fix anything. You can't even step on the grass to walk your dog without stepping in it dog poop. Also it transmits diseases but I am sure if your dog gets sick they still won't pick it up. There is no clean up. There are very few people that live there who respect others. I would have never signed a 15 month lease for the amount of money you pay. NOT WORTH IT!!
