Time for a rename for the Home Depot: Dog Depot.
Today I visited the store and (in 20 minutes) noted no less than 4 different dogs wandering through store with their owners. Huh???
Hey Home Depot! What about your patrons who might be allergic (or afraid) of dogs? What about small children who might not want to interact with a dog that is bigger than they are?
I suspect that I will have better luck at my neighborhood Rocky's hardware.

Good home depot employees are helpful.

Not enough help on floor. Both times I used the consultants for bathroom and kitchen it was not a great experience. Pushy towards what they wanted instead of what I did. Polite and professional, but found places that did exactly what I was looking for.

As a longtime paint customer I will walk the other way the next time I see Crystal working. She is perpetually angry and rude. Argues when you want to use Behr paint and not Glidden and despises when you bring in a paint card from a competing brand. I’ve had situations where my paint looks nothing like the card, yet when another employee does it it’s fine. She mixed my paint tonight with a scowl as she stormed around. When she handed it me I said, “Thanks. Hope your night improves.” and she started yelling at me saying that I was rude to the point that I could still hear her all the way in self checkout. Future customers of Crystal: choose a Glidden paint, have it mixed in Glidden and do not offer any good tidings. Treat the transaction as you would in that one Seinfeld episode with the soup.

Will never shop nor do another delivery from here majority of the staff is Racist & Rude if you don’t look like them they think because Trump back in office they can talk to you however they want and its “modern day slavery” this woman at the customer service desk threatened to cancel my delivery and said I wouldn’t be able to work just because I’m a African American male and my appearance & the type of job I was doing I hope this place closes one day forever!!! Don’t ever shop here and after bad reviews they have bots and partners of theirs enter false reviews to try and make their store seem good when it’s not

Great store , usually can find what I need however some of the more residential items ie a simple box of assorted electrical connectors, or an assortment of household fuses would be great. Stuff you have to go to the smaller hardware stores for. Which Enfield no longer has ( Carr ) I will say though the employees are good and the layout of this store is very user friendly. On the more positive side, I’ve got to say the the manager I worked with one night was just outstanding. She gave me a discount on delivery fee for my pellets because I was in town. What a big help that was!

I do a lot of business here. However, employees filling online orders (100+ 2x4s) while customers are waiting is absolutely absurd. If you want to improve efficiency, have a lot dedicated to picking for online orders.

Bring a map and a compass because once you're inside, you're on your own. I'm not sure if anyone works here. It's all self checkout. It's like shopping online without a computer.

I am a usual customer of this store. I went to find a drill set that extracts stripped screws because the people who installed/set up son's crib stripped most of the screws and only one I couldn't get out. It is my first time buying something like this so had no idea what it even looked like. I asked this young blonde lady for assistance in locating it. She told me, "check aisle 10, last bay on the right." I said, "thank you!" and walked to go look for it myself but the aisle just had screws/nails. I thought to myself, "maybe she doesn't know so I'll just go to customer service to ask." I go to customer service to ask and she was able to tell me the exact location. I went to go find it in the location she told me it was in and still couldn't find it. So I asked the same girl I had initially asked for help and the ATTITUDE she gave...wow. I was never rude in my encounters. I asked her, "hey, excuse me, can you help me to find the screw extractor kit? I looked where you told me the first time but couldn't find it there. Customer service told me it was here in aisle 9, bay 5." She says to me in a very rude/condescending tone, "you can look it up on the home depot app and it will tell you where to find it. If you just read." She pulls out her scanner and she had a hard time locating it on the scanner's app. I told her, "yes, I've been reading and looking for a while but I can't seem to find it." The way she made me feel....I felt so small and stupid. I am a woman who doesn't have experience in home repair stuff. Not every customer going into Home Depot will know what they are looking for and needs assistance. I felt so horrible and called management after I left the store to share my experience. Management was very helpful, said she would speak to the employee, and asked me what I wanted to come from it. I just told her, "tell her to be nice and helpful to people who are having a hard time looking for something." She said, "well, I appreciate your feedback. We hope you do come back here. The next time you purchase something, please ask for me and I will try to give you a discount on your next purchase."

I was waiting for someone to come over to the carpet section. After waiting for quite some time, another customer came over and was waiting as well. The other customer jumped in first. Fine. I waited. After waiting for over a half hour. Cassie tucks in her chair and goes to walk away. I asked if she was able to help me. After explaining, I was looking for a specific carpet. I was advised she had to go make a phone call. What??!! And she walked away. She did tell me that she would try and find someone else to help.

Joanne was extremely rude and unhelpful, we had the receipt for six plants to return and she kept claiming that only four plants were returnable. She continued to argue with us until I finally requested a manager. The manager had no issue to return all 6 plants and I appreciate the help from the manager. We spend so much money here and we even have a pro extra account and I don’t appreciate the way we were treated.

I would have given a 5 star, however costumer service comes along way in a costumers experience, at any place of business. I was taught growing up to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I've given many of the self check out staff at Home Depot in Enfield, for over a year "the benefit." I love going to this specific location, because I always find what I need, they have great prices and sales, it's also 5 minutes from my house. However, I will only put my orders for pick up, which I've had a GREAT experience with the staff who bring out my purchased items. The reason to this is because it doesn't matter how great you have your store prices, it just takes a few times of some staff members to be rude, for a costumer to either start shopping at another store, or do what I do, order for pick up. The staff at the self check out need to learn how to treat everyone as equal regarding race. I would be the bigger person and say HAVE A GREAT DAY! as they look up to the ceiling like I wasn't speaking to him/her. As I mentioned before I'm sure it's not all the staff, but the times I've gone in, within the last year I have yet to come across a professional self check out staff member. A year was enough to stop going in, as I was ready to call the staff out regarding there behavior.

Terrible management don't waste your time with them. I wish I could give them a good rating but they have issues to iron out with who they are hiring and keeping on and who should be fired.
