“I love this place. These guys have an awesome assortment of liquor we have nothing in Bristol area like these guys do here. We got these thin tall cans of mixed drinks and they tasted great. I had vodka in mine other people had a tequila one and one had run tequila and vodka in it. Other than drinks this place has good prices and decent staff. The manager there was really nice she had a major upsale because she told me a out these drinks. She was helpful and kind. The place is in a good area and plenty of parking too. Don't charge for bags which really means a lot. That tells me that they care more about their customers than making an extra buck.”
“I've lived in Old Saybrook for 40 years. For many years, 2 of my sisters, who live on Long Island, wanted to send me wine as a Christmas present. The only shop in town who would deliver was Old Colony. He did it for free, and was persistent in getting it delivered. Today, there are 6 stores in town and some of them deliver (one has a $100 minimum for free delivery). I'm for the local guy. The store is on the small side, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have a wide selection. The aisles are narrow, but he has a good selection of wine and beer, and he's very knowledgeable and great with selections. He's also a one-man show. As far as I can tell, he's the only employee. He's got to be the hardest working guy in town. His prices are good; his service is impeccable; his selection is top drawer. What's not to like?”
“A gem tucked into East Haddam! I stopped in while driving through the area in hopes of finding a great little Mother’s Day gift. What I found was an amazing little wine and spirits shop owned by the most knowledgeable and hospitable couple. Brendan & Kelley bought this shop about a year ago they said and have totally transformed it from a local package store to a tourist attraction because of their selection and location. Right in the heart of downtown. If you’re looking for something special or looking to try something new, stop in and let them share their world with you!”

“Generally a pretty big selection, probably the biggest in the area. Sometimes the beer selection of sours etc is better than others, but usually they have a good selection. They have been doing a fair amount of reorganizing and expanding of their layout, so I'd only expect them to improve the selection as they settle in on that too.”

“This family owned store is set in such a beautiful location that it is a destination in and of itself. There's a lake across the street with a sandy beach. While it is reserved for residents, nobody will bother you if you make a quick stop and touch your toes in the sand. Just don't setup a party without a town sticker in-season. The view is incredible. The nearby businesses are not to be missed including a gourmet market named Coffee's, All-Pro Shell station full service station, bicycle store, hardware store with gas station and an excellent Italian restaurant due to reopen soon (and others). It's worth hopping off the highway between exits 70-71 just for the drive. Enjoy!”
