I brought a collection of books to sell to the all the local antiquarian stores/personnel in the CT river shoreline area. The offer from this dealer was substantially lower than the competing closest offer. Hundreds of dollars below the best offer. The offer was seemed disrespectful and predatory. There are several better options locally that will treat you much more professionally. For example: Motley was a gold leather back limited first edition 17 vol full set only 1000 sets like it made. Very good condition. I sold it for $550 and was offered $40 at Pucks

Neat little gem of a bookshop. Very attentive staff. Nicely-curated collection. Will return.

Don't be fooled by the size of this place. There are some absolute treasures here, especially if you're interested in rare books. I was surprised to find a large collection of philosophy texts as well. I can't wait return.

They have a lovely selection of fine-condition books across many different genres in a cute location with very reasonable prices. I will definitely be back.
