“One of the best Importing stores around for Italian products great sandwiches cold cuts are awesome. The staff is great. I’m there every Saturday to buy my cold cuts,my semolina bread my RoseAnna candies that are so freaking delicious. I used to get them all the time when I was a kid from my godfather‘s, Italian Importing Store and I haven’t seen them in forever. I asked them about these candies. Next thing you know they had a huge 5 pound bag waiting for me the very next week I was just in awe and my mom too because she loves them. I introduced them to my niece and my friends and everyone now bothers me if I have any more left. They have the pistachio ones too which are delicious. they have these cavatelli that are so delicious and I do not like cheese and tortellini is one of my favorite types of pasta and I cannot find that kind of pasta with the meat filling in any restaurant or any grocery store and if I do, they put some kind of cheese inside them whether Parmesan or something. I don’t know why they do that. They are supposed to just be meat filled but Sorrento comes through all the time and they have a product called John’s and it’s just meat tortellini‘s only place I can find them. Definitely recommend them been going to them for many years. They are well known in the neighborhood used to be in BRIDGEPORT now they took over Fairfield.”
