Worst costumer, I was promised to give me a car for exchange and I literally went everyday for 5 days straight but never gave any car and says some one took away. Don’t receive customers too. Worst hertz location ever been to.

Worst car I rented with Hertz, smelling like someone smoked 100 cigarettes a day in it. A Tesla with 96,000 miles and falling apart.Counter very slow too.I’m 5 stars, so I rent a lot, never happened to rent a low quality vehicle like this one.I don’t even put my kid in it, or he will get cancer right away.When you accelerate there is a strange “tok” sound and seems like the rear wheels are going to detach from the car.This car should be thrown away.

If I could give zero stars I would this place provided my family member a vehicle with two different states license plates along with me being charged an inclusion fee. The Milford location is significantly better.

The manager is very friendly and helpful. Make sure you make reservations ahead of time and be prepared for the fact that the vehicle you want may not be available. I had a great experience regardless of everything

I had a disappointing experience with Hertz in Fairfield, CT. The customer service was subpar, and the vehicle The lot attendant was rude tried sending me away despite me seeing the pre-booked vehicle in the lot and the rental reservation. Overall, it fell short of my expectations.

I got a car and there was a maintenance repair warning on the dashboard as well as a defaulted key fob, I can't even use the fob to Unlock the doors or set the alarm on the car.This is my second rental from this location as I Believe in second chances, although the prices are good, the cars are Faulty...

I had a confirmed reservation for September 14, 2023 through September 21, 2023 to pick up my vehicle at 10:00 a.m. at 720 Post Road Fairfield, Connecticut. I arrived at 9:55 a.m. and I was told by the representative that they did not have any vehicles available, so I asked when would they have a vehicle available, and I was told that maybe an hour or two, and I remind you that I had to travel out of state for a family emergency, I told the representative this, and she told me that I could try calling another location, maybe I could try calling norwalk, so I called norwalk and the representative told me to give her my name credit card info and phone number, and she would call me back in five minutes, I waited for twenty minutes and never received a call back, so I asked the representative at the Fairfield location again when would theyhave a vehicle available, and she told me that I can come back later in the afternoon around 3:00 or 4:00, she never said she was sorry for not having a vehicle available or that they would try to compensate me in some type of way,so I sat there in the parking lot of the Fairfield location calling around to different Hertz locations looking for an available vehicle, I finally found one in Milford, Connecticut, the representative by the name of Tom was very courteous and polite, he got me into a vehicle as soon as I arrived. Again let me remind you that I never received a call back from the representative of the Norwalk location, or the representative at the Fairfield location. I would like to speak to a supervisor about this situation, I should not have been the one to be calling around looking for a available vehicle at different locations when I already had a confirmed reservation at the Fairfield location.

Didnt catch his name but I had a problem with my rental put of LaGuardia and the tall guy with a beard helped me out and did a great job. Highly recommend this Hertz

Called the location 5 times finally spoke to some one to check on my reservation and they hung up on me. When i called back they wouldnt answer the phone and when the finally did they completely ignored me. This is the WORST rental car agency ive ever encountered the workers are lazy and incompetent. Also they havent updated their hours on google so ill let everyone know they close at 5 not 6 like is still listed. If you need a rental i would not go to them. Choose enterprise. I wish i could give 0 stars

I have rented from the Fairfield spot multiple times and have never had any problems at this location. I most appreciate that they are open on Sundays. The place is always busy but I have never had to wait for a reserved vehicle and return has always been hassle free with no surprises on the emailed receipt.

Rented a SUV for long weekend trip.Went to pick up at Fairfield and guy said it was not back yet. Offered an “upgrade” - an electric car. Asked how to operate and neither two workers knew how to. Computer screen frozen - no GPS to travel with. No music for 5 hour trip. VERY FRuSTRATING and unacceptable, poor customer service. Phone gentlemen half hour into our trip and told us to Google it!!!!! Are you kidding me ???? For our money we expected to get what we paid for and not be “upgraded” to something they couldn’t even show as how to use. Find another rent a car like Enterprise. Don’t waste your time or money here!!!!!

If your coming here to rent for Uber call first because even though you choose one of the cheaper options they’ll probably “only” have the more expensive cars. You will have to pay the 200 dollar refundable deposit also. Just don’t get your hopes up thinking you’ll have options here.

I had an online pickup reserved the day after St. Paddy’s and when I got there the place hadn’t been opened up. There was a small crowd of ppl outside waiting, letting me know they were closed. No one had answered the number listed on Google either. Thankfully the enterprise across the street saved the day.

On Friday January 13th, I went online to reserve a vehicle for a pick-up at 9 a.m. on January 14th. I arrived to Hertz at 9 a.m. to be informed that they had no vehicles available. The clerk was apologetic and stated that she was just about to contact me to notify me. How unprofessional!!! I should have been contacted before I arrived. Luckily, Enterprise Rental Car is located in close proximity and I was able to obtain a vehicle with ease. Also, they had more staffing, as oppose to the one clerk working the front desk at Hertz. So disappointed in Hertz. I will not be utilizing their services again.
