The branch manager was condescending and rude instead of trying to help with my account problem. If there's nothing you can do for me, apologize and say you can't help. There's no need to be snide and belittle people.

Today was one of the most uncomfortable experiences I’ve had walking in a bank . I was subcontracted by a company doing some minor accounting work , My employer asked me to pick up some deposit slips from M&T however Mistakenly I heard key Bank . Upon my arrival in the bank I walked in the manager in her office with her feel on the desk ask can I help you , I said well my employer asked if I could pick up some deposit slips on my way to the office , then I was met with a barrage of question , who do I work for ? Where is my employer ? Instead of simply saying we don’t give deposit slips , it was the interrogation process that I could not understand. After walking out I realized I was this black man who she saw that was out of place . It’s 2025 I thought we left that mindset in the 90’s . She was so aggressive I froze up because I didn’t want say anything that would escalate the situation so I just immediately walked out.

This is my usual bank I’ve never had a problem with them but every once in a while they would tell me to wait while other customers cut in front of me since I would always have a big deposit. Today they told me to wait and I explained that I am in a rush so I can not wait and the branch manager catches an attitude and tells me idk how to talk to a lady because she didn’t get her way. Keep in mind I was not rude to her once and spoke to her in a respectful manner.

Brunilda has been exceptionally helpful with all of the difficulties of 2020. In 50 years of banking, I have never encountered anyone in the banking business so courteous and willing to lend a hand. We really appreciate her!

Horrible customer service. Depending on how you look. They will judge you at the Fairfield, CT branch and speak to you as if you have a pee brain. I closed my account and will never want to deal this customer service ever again. The need of training in deescalating clients frustration needs to be handle with care and not belittlement. I am appalled by the treatment that I have received. I do not need to go to the bank and receive a lecture on anything. It was disgusting.
