I have two vehicles I service with MB Fairfield. I have an older SL and a S class both are complex to maintain. They always are patient and go the extra distance to provide good service. Highly recommend them.Services: Electrical repair

I would like say I deleted my original review and after I thought about it I am going to rewrite it. I made an appointment for my new GLB for my first service appointment. I have to start with that was the worst decision I have made. I checked in and the service advisor kind of rubbed me wrong as he came and started to let me know the price and wanted to make sure I knew it which was fine. I went to the waiting area and after a while he came back and said everything was done, but I need a new tire, which took me back as I just put on brand new Michelin Ultra High Performance Sport4 tires. So I told him exactly that. As we went to my vehicle they pointed out the front tire which was ripped and my brand new rims damaged also which he wasn't aware of. I immediately told him that was not there when I dropped off my vehicle. They both looked at me as of I was a liar and trying to scam them. I asked if there were cameras to check what I was say correct instead of steering at me like a common crook. I guest this is the way a minority customer has to defend themselves. I repeated my self 3 times that this was not there and I am not a scammer before he said he would check the cameras. I was again taken back as they were looking at me like a liar. I went back to guest lounge waited and when he came back my statement was confirmed. I left with a loaner and in about 2 weeks I had to call to confirm my vehicle was done. When I got there he didn't say hello not even a look or acknowledgement, especially for my inconvenience and this being my first experience in this service center. I was charged full price $395.00 which I paid without complaining and went on my way, even though there was a sign there for a 25% discount if you paid in advance, which I had asked about but was originally ignored as they assumed I could afford it with the discount. When I got home I went to put extra air in my tire that's when I noticed the valve stem was still damaged and not replaced and couldn't put air in the tire and actually leaked air out. This was done intentionally and not replaced because if you replaced the tire you had to know the stem was damaged. I called and had to be inconvenienced once again. I had to use my PTO time and drive down again to get this corrected and fixed. I then decided to send an internal email with got to someone in charge. That's when the rep called me after being ignored by him when I was there. He called me later on to my surprise with a sob story about his mother in-law being Columbian and I assume this was said to assure me he wasn't a racist and his job was in jeopardy due to an investigation. I fell for it and took down my review as I don't want anyone to lose a job, but the more I thought about it the more I realized that I was being played and my good nature exploited. I will have to say this ,I will never go back to that service center or buy another car from Mercedes-Benz of Fairfield.

The staff team members are courteous and knowledgable, whether I am speaking with them in person or on the phone. Drop-off for maintenance couldn't be easier: each customer gets an appointment time, which prevents congestion, and a facilitator so you have a consistent point of contact. You drive up to the facility, the garage doors open, and a team member directs you forward into a parking spot. There is a clean and comfortable waiting room if you want to wait; if you don't have time to wait MB will arrange for a ride to work/ home.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement

Very easy appointment on line and very efficient and friendly service .Offered an Uber to take me home . The car was ready on schedule. Very easy to pay on line and fast pick up. It’s my first time here but I will be back.Service: Oil change

Can't recommend. But I'll give 3 stars. I'd advise to drive the extra miles to somewhere else. I can't vouch for current management. The staff are ok, I can't vouch for the technicians/mechanics but the front desk staff and liaison that deals with the encounter are pretty good. Heaven forbid you need a timely callback, you'll probably do better just doing Uber- in my opinion, from my experience.

Absolutely excellent service. Donny allowed me to speak with him privately about the events that have occurred in my life since my purchase of my Mercedes last October. He was very helpful with the details regarding my service contract. When I came to pick up my car the representative that helped me made sure that my key had a new battery, and then offered me a battery for my second key, which was generous and appreciated. The car looks beautiful. I so appreciate the extra care that was given to my vehicle.

Update - we have had no follow up from the Service Manager despite the perfunctory response to this review. They were very quick to respond on Google and have not responded in real life after 4 days, despite email and phone contacts.The Customer Experience Manager did reach out to us in response to us filling in the automated survey, and mentioned via email that she would escalate to the Service Manager. But that was 3 days ago.It seems that the Service Manager is where good service goes to die, and that explains the gap between hard working and well meaning service associates and the issues with scheduling, associate availability and coordination.We will be taking the car to Greenwich going forward.--‐-------------------------------The service at this dealership was exceptional until the last experience, which was disappointing.There was a shortage of service advisors which led to people scrambling to pick up work orders. The car was inspected for possible brake/wheel issues and somehow returned without the air filled up, unlike previous times when it was.On to the major issue, our car went in for transmission service and was returned with a non-functioning AC, which was working fine when it went in. Even if the dealership was not responsible for this issue, we would expect a full inspection like they promise to catch obvious things before they return the car. There has been no acknowledgment of this issue despite multiple efforts to contact the dealership and their Service Manager.We will be taking the car to the dealership in Greenwich going forward.Service: Transmission

Scheduling my appointment online was easy. I didn’t have much interaction by phone which was very convenient for me. The only issue I had was when I actually had to drop the vehicle off. This facility is gated and they had a security guard stationed at the gate upon my arrival. I was informed that I could drop the vehicle off anytime up until 6pm. I work in NY so I timed my drop off perfectly and was at the gate by 5:40pm. As I attempted to pull thru the gates I was stopped by the guard who denied me entry. I told him I was told I could drop my vehicle off and drop the key. He tried telling me the service dept closes at 530. I said I don’t need to see anyone that I was simply dropping my vehicle. After several minutes of back and forth and me convincing him that I had no intentions on entering the building he let me thru. This interaction put a bad taste in my mouth and I was ready to go off if I was denied access to drop my vehicle. The rest of my experience went well and the repairs were completed and pick up was seamless. This was for the subframe issue that has been identified as a warrantied repair that MB is covering. Subframes are rotting out and breaking apart causing a very dangerous situation for operator of the vehicle.

Mercedes Benz Of Fairfield has a very professional staff. Their Service Department is always willing to work with you regarding your concerns as well as with your schedule. I had to make an airport trip upstate and my engine light suddenly went on, so my service advisor, Mike K., fit me in to run some tests to make sure it would be safe to drive. This is just one example of how they go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with your vehicle service.
