The worst. Lazy and unbelievably irresponsible. When I was there one of the workers was basically taking a shopping bag of medical supplies home. I dropped off a 24 hour urine sample I'm a huge container they provided, labeled with my name and phone number, which they promptly lost.

Somehow they continue managing to mess up online appointments I made. Almost nobody in the waiting room but over 20 minutes delayed serving me after I made an online appointments. Never any apologies, but otherwise friendly.

On my August 25th I arrived at Quest Diagnostics fasted and ready to check-in through the kiosk system. Shortly after I was greeted by a phlebotomist in the waiting room informing me I was not in the system, had no ordered tests, my scheduled appointment was not valid and I could leave. I questioned how this could be and asked her to check again she told me no and the only resolution was a paper faxed test report from each office would be required (there were three - one primary and two specialists). After several phone calls and negotiation she let know that I was in the system but was entered into there system wrongly and this was my fault. I politely let her know that I do not perform the data entry at my doctor's offices. After some time I was called in for my blood draw. I had been warned that they need to be reminded when you have overlapping tests across doctors to not let them know. She assured me that she was accounting for this. I wound up giving over 15 viles of blood (a small 4"/8" basket filled to the top). I was verbally abused by the phlebotomist regrading showing up with three doctors tests (at one time) and that my name, which contains an apostrophe was inappropriately entered in thier system. She continued to berate me until I asked her to stop and stated that I am "trying to live my life and take care of my health". It was a very stressful experience and I will not be going back for any blood tests for a while. I nearly passed out and felt like I had been mugged. I highly recomend have a conversation with your doctor to ensure there are alternatives to Quest for your testing.

Quick and friendly service. Would use this for a blood draw again. I found the office hard to find, so I have posted pictures of location.

The wait was long but that was my fault for not making an appointment. The staff was so friendly and extremely flexible with me. Special thanks to Flo who went above and beyond!

I, too, would give this a zero star rating if that was possible. I brought my son to this Fairfield Location (1305 Post Rd) two days ago for a blood test. He's 12. I made an appointment for 3 pm, took him out of school early, and had an hour scheduled before I had to leave to get my daughter. I thought this would be plenty of time. Despite the TV screen telling us we only had to wait 2 minutes for our scheduled appointment, we waited 37. I know this because it said so on the lab tech's screen when we were FINALLY taken into the blood draw room. Another woman who'd been fasting since 10 am the day before had been waiting 48 minutes. One man gave up after waiting 40 minutes. Here's the number one reason this service was unacceptable: there were NO patients in the blood draw rooms and FOUR in the waiting room. There were at least 3 staff members that I saw, one of which left the office, went outside and returned to tell us we would be seen soon. She didn't come back for another 20 minutes. During that time, we could see the staff members through the door. They were chatting and laughing. One woman sat on the floor and chatted with a colleague who was leaning against the wall beside her. All of this was happening while four people waited in the waiting room. Two of us actually had appointments. I knocked on the door so they could hear me and they completely ignored me and went on chatting. This behavior is inexcusable. Also, when we finally got into the blood draw room, the woman who took the blood was unfriendly and did not seem to be well acquainted with taking blood from children. Luckily, my son is a very well-behaved and brave 12 year old. She didn't tell him any of what she was about to do (i.e. "I'm going to put this on your arm to act as a tourniquet," "I'm going to stick this in to take your blood," etc.). This was my son's first ever blood draw experience and she said nothing to him in an attempt to explain things or put him at ease. I did. If this had been my daughter, who's terrified of needles, I don't know how we would have gotten through it with someone who was so impassive and unsympathetic. A year ago, I went to this same clinic myself, the same behavior occured. I waited for almost an hour and there were NO PATIENTS inside the clinic then either. I assumed I had visited on a bad day. Turns out every day at this clinic is a bad day. This has to be rectified. Look at the online reviews for this clinic. They're all awful. And they're all true. If I behaved in the way these women did at my job, I would be fired. You're supposed to be helping people during a somewhat (or perhaps very) stressful time in their lives. No one WANTS to be in this office. No one WANTS to have their blood taken. We HAVE to do this. You should be doing everything you can to support us through this time, and make it a more enjoyable (or at least less stressful) experience.
