Recently had major surgery, and I have limited mobility. I recently had a horrible experience getting an electric cart at another Stop n Shop location. Should have known better than to even try at that location. Today I stopped into the Kings Hwy store (our favorite location) and had no problems getting an electric cart. A very friendly employee named Michael (cart crew) was so helpful. Michael went down to the other entrance and got me a cart that was fully charged.. Michael explained to me how to use it, and how to work the controls on the steering wheel. I thanked him for being so helpful and for his kindness. My husband and I love this location. Everyone is helpful, and kind. The employees are polite, pleasant and act like they want to be there.. unlike other locations. My family and I will continue to visit this store and stay away from others.

This is the worst Stop & Shop I have ever been into. Prices Are the highest. Items that are Constantly out of stock or unacceptable.
What bothers me most is how poorly the store is organized. Items placed where you never think to look For them And the employees are rude about everything. Unfortunately, for me, the next closest Stop & Shop is the one in the middle of the projects. Not as unfortunate as I thought. The place is beautiful well stocked all with employees that are kind and thoughtful. Makes this place look like the basement of a bargain discount store

I am in the qic program for my grandson..and sometimes you go the other supermarket and don't get everything, but at this stop n shop I got all the items I needed..

Going to a Stop and Shop has become an exercise in self-punishment. There are fewer and fewer employees, and the work has been foisted upon you, the customer.
There is nothing like having the self-check out register scream at you because something weighed a gram more or less than anticipated and to have to wait for the poor person who is minding those registers to come over and fix the problem. If Ahold Delhaize is so concerned about shrinkage, maybe they should, I don't know, HIRE SOME PEOPLE to watch the registers. Of course we all know this won't happen because Frans Muller has to make sure his stock options continue to rise.
The employees here are great, and I feel for them. I'd like to see one of the worthless suits at Ahold Delhaize (the conglomerate that owns Stop and Shop) do one of their jobs for a single shift.
Also, let's talk about the app. It is poorly designed, and I've yet to have it actually apply the discounts from the coupons that one must digitally clip such that the food here costs what it costs at other grocery stores. The stores that are content to aggregate your data through a card. I'm convinced this app is intentionally frustrating so that people miss out on "savings." It almost always takes a small squadron of people to figure out how to make it work.
It is such a frustrating experience to go to any Stop and Shop these days. The prices are at more or less the same level of Whole Foods, one might as well just go there and save the frustration.
