THEY SELL ROTTEN OLD MEAT...Went there and bought some ground pork, the sticker said it was packaged 2 days ago, brought it home opened it up...it smelled like rotten eggs. So, OK...drive back to the store and went to customer service to return it and let them know. Customer service rudely accused me of stealing the meat, when they nastily asked me if I had a receipt. Mind you I was being super polite up to this point. So I took out my receipt and tried to show him that particular line item. He seemed super pissed that I actually had a receipt and even more rudely took the receipt. Still biting my tongue, and still waiting for my refund...I asked if there was someone I could speak to to let the meat department know they had bad meat on the shelves. They didn't answer me, just spoke to each other about how they weren't calling a manager for something they could handle themselves. Sooooo, rather than stooping to their level, I walked over to another employee who assured me she would call the meat dept. right away. Finally left. It's bad enough the fruit they sell on Tuesday is bad by Thursday, now they are repackaging old meat so they can say it was packed 2 days ago. Their strategy seems to be that most people will just throw it away and not be inconvenienced by having to go all the way back to the store to return it.

You can shop so diverse and not disappointed that you have everything. Fresh bread, fruits, and snacks cannot be stopped.

I worked in retail for half a decade as a customer service manager, front end helper, and closing store manager at shoprite stores. I have a background in grocery/retail and know what proper customer service training is. The cross-eyed customer service employee was extremely rude, disrespectful, and condescending. The employees here as a whole are untrained and unprofessional. This stop and shop is slightly better than the other one in town, but shoprite is much much better. Avoid coming here at all costs.

I just wanted to buy a lobster. I asked the deli to send help. They said " someone should be there". 20 minutes later no one shows up. I really wanted that lobster.

Cashier with the name tag“Keisha” is very rude and unpleasant, she turn the light off while me and others were in line and didn’t even Acknowledge that I already put the groceries on the counter to be check out and said she’s closed. she also said she just need to get out as she should’ve been off the clock already, very unprofessional I’ve been a customer their for 9 years.

So I usually go to the S&S in Milford by my GF's place but I like this one way more. The produce section is larger and has a better selection. The store seems cleaner and more spacious. It's also has S&S Gas across the street, which is an obvious plus!

Plenty of staff, variety. Organized, easy to find what you need. Includes a mini Starbucks which is always a plus. Neat, clean, organized. Customer service above average. Could be a bit more friendly. But over all, I recommend this Stop n Shop to all!

I usually do alot of grocery here since 9 years and never experienced an unfriendly/rude behavior from the employee but yesterday when i went there the employee was very rude. Got so disappointed. Never going back again.
