“I was visiting from Florida when my 2010 F150’s small coolant leak (something I’d been managing for almost a year with occasional top-offs) suddenly got much worse in subfreezing Connecticut weather. Being 1,200 miles from home, I was worried about getting taken advantage of by an unfamiliar shop — especially with the holidays and a hard deadline to drive back to Florida.

They quoted a fair price, almost identical to what my trusted shop in Florida estimated. Once they had the intake off, they confirmed mine was still true and did not replace it — resulting in a final bill $400 under the estimate. They could have put in a new intake and I never would’ve questioned it, but they chose honesty instead. The owner even showed me the failed parts afterward.

Since the repair, I’ve driven about 1,800 miles — CT to FL, a show weekend in South Florida, and local driving — with zero leaks and zero issues.
