A male representative showed a reasonable rental rate on the display and I agreed to rent a car for 2 weeks. However, he charged me totally different rental rate that was more than three times higher than that he showed me. The bill showed $3000. Can you believe? But this really happened. I requested refund through BBB but they did not fully refund. His service was fraud.

I arrive to pick up a rental and no cars available. So I ask the useless guy that was working for a upgrade since I'm a presidential circle and he couldn't his response was(nope)all he could say is come back tomorrow or call customer service and cancel the reservation....So I drove again the next day and arrive 30 minutes before closing time. there was a sign on the door with a number (860-953-1069) don't bother to call Nobody will answer...... ( I have picture of the sign with time stamp) two other people waited till 5:20 before we left since it was noticeable they had left early.... it's sad that the hotel personal even tried to help by calling the number and eventually bad mouthing the car rental location. ..........Avoid this location......

so after my car ins set up my rental because My car was hit at the post office. I have to say I was warned by the repair shop that Hertz wasn't great. But I tired to give them a fair chance. Lady showed up to get me from repair shop- with wrong name. get my rental and 2 days later discover that it's leaking oil all over my drive way. they of course want it back ASAP with no help to do so when they have short hours and I work late. So I have to drive to a location even further away to switch out since they are open longer-NO COMMUNICATION despite-Steve saying he'd call the so they would expect me. No one called other location. got new car, dropped off at repair shop as discussed with hertz the day before. a week later I get a bill, and still no refund deposit. call get transferred 3 times, get told it's because gas wasn't filled, get told I need to call customer service, call customer service, am told I have to go online and submit my receipt from the gas refill I did across st from repair shop!! They have to be charging me for the gas they used from repair shop to Hertz!! soooo aggravating, I will never use them again

The location for drop-off/pickup of automobiles is located in one area next to the hotel, near what appeared to be the conference facility. There are no signs as to where the desk is to obtain keys for the cars and it was not located in the ground floor of the "conference building". At the time I was looking to exchange a car I did not have time to locate the desk on the rest of the property. As such I was unable to perform what I needed to.

After signing the agreement we asked to have the last come out and inspect the car with us. She said no that she was the one that had taken the car in earlier. Well when I got out to the car is was disgusting. It smelled like a dirty diaper and they had sprayed something to try to cover it up. It was dirty and the car had scratches and dents all over it. When I contacted corporate about it they told me to go exchange it. So I did with another location because I didnt want to deal with that lying lady again. Well the Farmington location picked up the car from the repair shop. Not only did they try to charge me 45 dollars for gas on a full car but they also billed the insurance wrong and I had was charged for half the bill.

Hertz is the worse company to rent from if you have an agreement between your insurance and hertz forget it hertz has taken money from my checking account three times already been paid by my bank and you can never get a hold of anyone to go over your bill with totally would not recommend them bad business

I do not recommend this location!!! They gave me a filthy vehicle which I called customer service about after picking it up that morning. The representative said they would put it in the notes and that I would receive 15% off the total bill. Well guess what? Never happened. I contacted the location directly after the rental agreement was closed out and was told they didn't see any notes. Was then told to contact customer service again and they said they also didn't see any notes and there was no supervision available to speak with me and that if I wanted to I could email the pictures I took of the vehicle to customer relations and they would "investigate". Their customer's word means nothing to this company. This is my first and last time renting from Hertz.

Waited half hour for someone to come into an already open office. Given a car that smelled like an astray looks like it's never been cleaned and needed an oil change. After speaking with this office not once but 10 days in a row regarding when I would be picking up the car the rental was STILL not ready. On top it's been a month since I returned the car but on hold deposit is still on hold. This company customer service is rude. Noone ever knows anything. This place is A REAL PROBLEM.

This business would be much better off if they gave training to their help. I called a number of times to return my rental but no one was there to pick up, even though the office says 24/7, and the voice mail box was full. I called the main head quarters and they were able to get someone there, but he couldn't talk to me then because he said he was busy with a customer and that I could call back in an hour. So, the rental will probably cost me for an extra day because their employee can't walk and chew gum at the same time.

The worst of the worst service ever! I returned my car on time, and got triple charged because nobody does anything and put an extra week on me where I was out of country! I have filed the complaints a few times. Nothing happened on my credit card. I ended up disputing it from my end. This is not my first bad experience with Hertz. Last time I got overcharged in San Diego. It’s a hopeless company for sure!
