“Hyde's is a wonderful place. The inside of the building has been freshened up and the color scheme is pleasing to the eye. Products are displayed neatly. The staff is pleasant and very helpful. The local products (meat, eggs, ice cream, milk) are an added bonus. These products are labeled as to who produced it; this a good way to let the customers know who Hyde's supports. On a recent visit, staffing seemed to be a bit short, but each customer (including myself) was assisted with utmost care.”

“We wandered in on our trip to the Shoppes of Old Mystic and LOVE this place. They had the coolest, most unique items for dog and cat lovers and even for my little whale loving nephew, there was a SUPER COOL book. I highly recommend this store if you have little ones to keep entertained while on vacation. For babies and toddlers, there are adorable finger puppet card board books in the back, little ones from the ages of 3-10 would like all of the plastic toy animals, and the plush stuffed animals of EVERY kind. I highly recommend this and several other shoppes in Old Mystic.”
“This is my local store, and here has never been an instance where I haven't left the store laughing. Big shout out to the manager Nico, fantastic service, helped me set up a brand new fish tank with everything I needed, super knowledgeable about the whole process while cracking jokes the entire time, I cannot recommend this shop enough. Never shopping anywhere else.”
“So happy that PetSmart had the Java Fern that I seriously needed for my Poison Dart Frog Tadpoles. It is amazing for it's ability to remove impurities and produce oxygen. Makes a much better environment for my Tadpoles!”

“This Petco is very close to the highway and many other businesses located near the mall in Waterford. I ran in to search for some food containers for my step daughter's dog and I was happy to see many options to choose from. This store is very complete and the parking lot is large. While there, I checked out some of their other departments and they have lots to choose from regardless if you have a cat, dog, rabbit, fish, etc...”

“Had to get my daughter another shrimp, will be back for more when they restock. The other pet store we got her shrimp from were expensive and he didn't give us the information we needed when selling us fish with them. Needless to say, no more expensive shrimp in our tank...”
