EDIT: Shop has had the truck for a month now. Seems the only way to get updates is for me to initiate a call. It’s hard for me to understand how a dealer this size can have such difficulty getting parts for a 3 year old truck and then not have a sense of urgency about getting the vehicle back up and running. Makes me think twice about using them in the future.

Disappointed !! Picked up a Certified used truck 2 weeks ago. The sale process went well…. Delivery had a couple glitches… and it too a week and a half (and several calls/ emails) to get a refund of a $1000 overpayment. Having been “in the business” I was willing to let some “stuff” slide. BUT now 2 weeks into owning the truck, I developed a rather severe issue coming from what sounds like the drivetrain somewhere (driveshaft, axel or possibly the transfer case) called the Service Dept and there’s absolutely NO sense of urgency!! At first tried to put me off for almost 2 WEEKS. Had to fight for them to “maybe” look at it Monday (today is Thursday). No use of my truck for 4 days (don’t wanna make whatever is wrong worse or end up with some type of catastrophic failure). Service after the sale is what keeps people coming back and this is not how it’s done.

I brought my ford taurus in for 2 recalls one of which was a rear suspension toe link replacement. After performing the toe link replacement they never performed a 4 wheel alignment or properly aligned the rear tires. They made my car unsafe to drive and I had to take it somewhere else to have the car aligned. When I spoke to them about it the service department was rude and condescending. I wouldn't do business with them again. Absolutely terrible!

This was my best dealership experience ever. I told Erl what I wanted and that I only had an hour and a half. He quickly grabbed keys and an iPad as well had my current car appraised. He showed me the vehicle we went back inside and met with finance and was out the door in time. I gave them a time to pick up the new car and it was ready and met finance and was out the door. Hassle free. Great people to work with and everyone there that I came across was very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable.

Recently purchased a 2023 Explorer from Monaco Ford Jillian was great very helpful I was a little hesitant a first was the going to purchase a Tesla but customer service is horrible I'm so glad I made the right decision.

Worst experience! Had my truck in to get a back up camera fixed had no problem taking my $180 to tell me you need a camera but told me they don't have any in stock. Next day call the parts department and have plenty in stock. Asked to speak to a manager about it didn't care, but told me you need to have it installed hear to work properly using ford software. Called up another dealership told me this was not true will plug and work which did. Next left me a long list of things to fix during my oil change inspection including a control arm they couldn't tell me which side or what the issue was. Had another shop take a look and ball joints look fine. Told me I had a leaking pinion seal which was not leaking. Not a good experience will not go back.

Recently visited Monaco Ford as I am looking at purchasing a new SUV and are interested in an Explorer. First thing is the great atmosphere
very low pressure explained what I was looking for and Earl was very helpful. My 2nd reason for visiting was to see if this would be a good Ford dealership to continue servicing my 2016 F150 and I believe it is. See you soon Monoco! Thank you for the great experience today.

My family has now purchased three trucks from Monaco. My experience has been extremely good. The first truck I purchased was a slightly used incomplete dump bed, which had some hesitation/bucking issues soon after I purchased it. Monaco did everything they could to try to make things right, including offering me a new engine. When that didn’t work out, they agreed to re-purchase the truck from me and gave me a very good price as well as offering me a large discount on a new F- 150 Hybrid Power Stroke to replace it. I absolutely love the new truck. Blake, the head of sales was fantastic, as were Greg and Doug both senior managers. All three really went above and beyond to try to meet me in the place where we were all happy with the outcome. I would recommend them over any other Ford dealer in Connecticut.
