“"We're playin' those mind games together Pushin' the barriers, plantin' seeds Faith in the future, outta the now" (John Lennon) Is there anything better at bringing out your inner child than wandering around an incredible toy store loaded with more toys and games than you ever thought existed? We wanted to pick up a few odds and ends to send to the grands for their Valentine's Day box, and we ended up staying for close to an hour because Pinwheels had us in a trance. They have all the traditional things, including a full height wall of Barbies and accessories, plus a crazy amount of stuffed animals, dolls, craft kits, toy tucks, Pokemon stuff, sports cards, Legos, slimes, Squishmallows, Jellycats, and things I never heard of but must be super popular. They have a lot of these teeny tiny miniature collectibles that are a big hit with the "Under Ten" crowd. They also have a discount section with reduced pricing. If you're in the market to pick up something for the children in your world, you can't go wrong here at all.”

“A wonderful toy store full of amazing games & toys! If you are old enough to remember Toys'r'us then you know what it's like, but this is way better. For one, many of the toys are better quality. For another, a much better set of choices. For example, I like the marble coaster toy Gravitrax (yeah, yeah I know it's meant for kids :-P ). I saw so many expansions there that I had never seen before! It was awesome! They also have more grown up toys like R/C airplanes, boats, etc. They have model rockets! What they don't have are more serious board games like Settlers of Catan, Puerto Rico, Unmatched, etc. Those are across the street at the Portal, which has the same owner as the time machine.I strongly recommend going to the Time Machine for your toy and game needs!”

“I went to The Paper Store in Evergreen Walk in search of a gift for a friend who loves Lilly Pulitzer stuff. They have a small selection of Lilly Pulitzer clothing, but they also have accessories and stationary. This Paper Store has everything here. There's fall decor, puzzles, Barbies, games for kids. There's tumblers, of all sizes, colors and brands, including the very popular Stanley cup. There's gifts for men, like camping stuff and socks. Of course the men's section is much smaller in comparison to everything else. There's jewelry here, like Kendra Scott. They have all kinds of decor for your home. With the fall season in mind, there's all sorts of decorative pumpkins for fall. Most of the items are pretty expensive, if you could find the same item at Marshall's I'd get it there instead. Most items are sold at manufacturer's price. They have a very small section of sale items. It's also good to look here during Christmas for a special ornament. The Paper Store may be a good place to find a special gift that may be difficult to find elsewhere.”

“I will admit this is one of my most favorite places. If I were to be writing a wonderful review, that will not be the case. My dad and I drove all the way to the store in Manchester, Ct just to see that it has been temporarily closed for technical issues. All in all I’ve always had a fun experience with BAB, but not this time. So for anyone hoping to set foot in the store, I’ll advise you not to for the will be closed for the time being”

“Small store with a lot of N Scale tucked away in boxes. You REALLY have to sift through stuff to see if there is anything you like. Owner is friendly and doesn't pressure you to buy anything. Good prices as well”

“Cute clean little at Arcade located in Buckland Hills Mall near the mall entrance between JC Penney and Macy's. Several different machines Space Invaders, Halo, Snowmobile and Motorcycle, Basketball, Skeet, Etc. Most of the machines take 4 quarters per player or play. There is a vending machine for quarters that you can tap by credit card. Nice little stop to entertain the littles or big kid in you.”

“Pretty nice store. Reminds me of an Ocean State job lot, just a little bigger! Found what I wasn't looking for, but the items made it to my basket! Good place to save some cash!”

“Less busy than Manchester but either have cashiers or don't. Most people don't need - nor do they want - someone telling them which register they're allowed to use when all are open and they're paying with a card. They also don't want to be asked to purchase a bag when they're literally carrying the one or two items they're buying.PS: I *prefer* self checkout but one of the appeals is not having to talk to employees unless there's a problem.”
